Due to NIT tag and my preferred branch Computer Science and Engineering. The college is one of the premiere institutes of the country and is referred as an institute of national importance. Also, the college provides better opportunities and jobs than most colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is normal as followed by most of the institutions of the country, the academics is moderate, not too difficult, not too easy and the faculties are very supportive and helpful to students.
Placement Experience
The placement and Job opportunities are much better than many colleges. There is almost 100% placement in CSE and many companies visit us every year. Although, for some big companies, we have to go to NIT Silchar for pool campus, but that is not much trouble.
College Events
Campus life is amazing, high speed wifi facility 24/7, technical fest with lots of events and prize money, cultural fest OUGRI showcasing international DJs and lots of fun activities. The whole manipur witnesses the huge OUGRI celebration every year in early April.

Placement Experience
From 3rd semester according to their grade, students become eligible for campus placements. I have no ideas about companies but in the prospectus, there are about 10 companies including airtel visited. Above 75 percent students getting placements. To be in a multi-level company.
Remarks
Curriculum is remarkable, Environment of the college is phenomenal. The Course is totally based on what the industry is demanding nowadays. Since the institute comes under MHRD, therefore it's degree is of immense importance.

Since the college is new, therefore not so many companies visit but still companies come here as this institute has its own training and placement cell.
Remarks
The college is still developing so it will be more chances to get education under new developments and get to learn many more things. I really appreciate my college and my teachers hardwork The environment is so cool and refreshing that in every morning u will feel special.

Power grid NHP many more private companies are more there. 4th year. Max of my seniors had always been placement. So far Rs 140000. Starting from 60 well presentations of yourself matter more than marks. I'll be looking for a government job.

This college was under MHRD. Also because of the IIIT brand name. I did not got any other good NIT , IIT, IIIT so i decide to choose IIIT Manipur. I got this college through centralised counseling of jee mains.
Placement Experience
No company visit in college. Till now 2 batches passed but still no company coming to college for placement. Many students get placement by applying on online job giving platform. There are no notable alumni from our college. There is no startup and famous research work from our college.
Remarks
I chose this course because it is very informative. The best thing about our course is that it is very interrelated subject which covers various other domains of engineering Like IT and Electrical Engineering. Effervescence is our cultural fest that is held in our college in every year in the month of October It is a multi- dimensional fest in which various activities are held. Various sports activities are also held in our college. Campus connectivity in our campus is very good as there are buses available which connects hostel to railway station and Allahabad Market. Various government scholarships are also given to Merit student and the students who belong to weaker sections of society.
Remarks
College management is very poor. As NIT MANIPUR is a new NIT, we faced a lot of issues regarding faculties, hostel, academics, transportation, placement drives,etc. For daily classes we have to go different locations on different days depending on the subject we had in that particular day. In brief, we had face lot of difficulties during my B Tech journey of 4 years.
Admission
I did preparing mains examination from self study. one year prepare for the exam. and after that, I applied form for mains exam. I gave the exam and I got selection in NIT MANIPUR. I was very happy. when out the result and I saw the result. after that, I went to college for admission. so many processes have done to entering college.
Remarks
I liked the optimistic approach of the college and each and every academic and non- academic zone I learned good things. That helped me and supported me to look at the positive side of the subject and hence, this college made me create good memories.

the good thing is it is good for everyone, good faculties students ratio, one remark can be the administration is slow.
