PLACEMENT WING
Placements of our college are average.Companies like wipro, vodafone,idea come for recruitment.The average package is almost around 3-5 lakh per annum.They also give various opportunities for work from home internships in different companies.

Our course was pretty informative.Teachers are really good.They make sure that everyone understands what they are teaching. Every doubt is answered thoroughly.For in depth knowledge of the topic various assessments are given.

Societies of our college is really active.Also they organisies fest on regular basis. Our College understands the value of extracurricular activities and events in students life.In our recent fest Jass Manak(Popular Punjabi) singer was invited in our fest.Also various competitions like poster competition are organised.

Pros and Cons of PGDAV Evening College

Placement -

There are few possibilities of campus placement as far as I know but some companies come to hire commerce student from 5th and 6th semester. Deloitte, KMPG, Reliance, Airtel etc. Average salary package is about 3.5 lakh per annum. I will try to crack UPSC after graduation and I am also preparing for that.

Students become eligible for internships in the 4th semester. But their registration is done in 1st semester itself. The average package is around 3lakh and I feel that's very good after graduation. The percentage of students getting placement is 60 percent.

Placements system are provided here from SOL. Here is have one window open where students can register themselves for the placement purpose. Companies come there and students have to give an interview and if they selected so they will get the job. Every semester students are eligible for the placement.

Highest is 13 lakhs per annum. 60% of students easily get good placements from college campuses. My plan after college is to go for Civil service examinations.

Going by the seniors and the alumni the placement ratios of the previous years have been really good. So hoping that it will be the same ratio of around 70-75% in the coming years as well. As we are in the pandemic saying anything will be foolish but yeah let's see.

Remarks -

The infrastructure of the college was good. They provided weekly classes also, which helped student to purse their knowledge. There was a decent environment around the campus. I am satisfied with the infrastructure, and the facilities were also quite good.

Course Curriculum -

Faculty members in our college were knowledgeable, qualified, and supportive. They had a friendly nature. If someone had any problem regarding studies, they listen and resolve it as soon as possible. The curriculum of the course was similar to the regular college provide to their students
