I wanted to have a vast exposure for my career so I opted this subject. The environment was pretty cool actually. My college is an all-girls college. One thing I didn't like was the canteen but yeah now it got renewed and it's amazing.
The course changes regularly. The faculty of human development is very good and supportive. Industrial exposure is not something which we get because everything is available in the college campus it self. Like for example- biochemistry students have all the materials they in the college laboratory. Home science students have their own labs. So there is no such need for us to take any sort of industrial visit.
Being a first year students I actually don't know about the placements and the job opportunity which are being given to the students. Some of the companies were Iglu, the education tree, hcl, etc. Our placement cell is eminence and it's good they work nicely and encourage us to take part in the placement processes happening around the college.
We have societies which is pretty cool actually and we have departmental fests, cultural fest. But our college majorly focuses on the academics rather than extracurricular activities which makes it different from other delhi university colleges.
The infrastructure is not so complicated it have two buildings. First the main building including offices and classes and the new building including labs and classes. Each floor have two washrooms and we have gymnasium, basketball court. Our library have two levels but it's a little small. We have Wi-Fi in our college but it works only in the main building.
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. For chemistry department students many companies visited the college for placement. 1) Asian paint - this company give highest 20 posts for assistant researcher and average salary about 3-4 lakhs. 2) Jubilant- this pharma company offers 3 posts (approx salary 3.5 lakhs) annually. Approx 50 percent of students get placement through college. after graduation, i want to do a master's in chemistry.
Placements offered by our college are pretty good. All the departments offer exciting placements. The average highest salary package is 5LPA and the lowest is 1LPA. Many good companies come to the college. If in some courses there are no placements, then they offer good internship opportunities too. Some students plan for higher education too after attaining a bachelor's degree.
College placement is 85%. Companies like Wipro, Lido, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein comes to take bright and deserving students. The highest package cracked I know is 4.5Lacs. Many students pursue higher studies from BSc. Mathematics. I will also go for higher studies.

At the start of 5th semester placements start and everyone is eligible to sit for it. Around 50 companies this year as they were online and around 300 offers were made. Highest package 20lakhs. Average package 4 lakhs. Around 25% students got placed.
Students from all semesters are eligible for internships, however, mostly Final year/semester students are preferred by the placement cell. Not a lot of placements were available for my course since a BSc on its own doesn't mean a lot, but there were good packages available for students pursuing commerce and the like as far as I know, the highest packages offered in our department were around 12-24 Lac pa while the lowest were only 5-6 Lac pa. Not a lot of students got a placement after completing the course right away, as most opted including me opted for higher studies (Masters in Physics, MBA, UPSC etc).
From 5-semester students become applicable for placements and all placement related details are shared in a college group compromising of more than 2500+ students. Most student opt for higher studies after a bachelor's some start preparing for entrance exams.
