I was intrested in studying some professional degree. So I opted out engineering degree. Luckily I got admission to study electrical engineering. Iopted this college because this college is near to my native city and I can go home whenever required. Moreover the climate in Wayanad in quite good and chill.
I think the curriculum must be changed according to new generation. It must include more practicals rather than theories. That will make the course intresting. Likewise in polytechnic colleges, the focus more on the practical and technical skills rather than just learning these things
Comparing to other colleges there are less number of companies coming for campus recruitment due to the location of the college. This will affect the future of the college. However there are some companies available for recruitment.
In every year, there will the arts day, hostel day, tech fest,etc. During these days college will unite together to carry out all the work. There are gym facilities available in the college and for each sports there are separate grounds available.
There are good manangemnet. Principal is very strict.
First, you have to give the entrance exam KEAM. The rank list is publishing based on the entrance marks and plus two marks. From the rank list, we can apply for various courses in GEC. From the application first, they releasing a list of students who got the seats. Later we can apply for transfer etc.
If one is expecting a top notch or atleast medium level college life and campus experience, this is not the place for you. Teachers and faculties will treat you like little kids, discouraging you from everything but studies. You will never find a mental balance if you are one of the above. If all you care is a place to study and have a degree in peace, then this is the right place for you. It have a beautiful ambience of nature. Since its study only you are after, the entire college from teachers to director will support you to any extend.
It was established in the year 2004. It is affiliated to university of calicut, approved by government of kerala and AICTE, New delhi. The college has a lush green campus. It is a self financing private college.
This an average college with decent teaching faculty. The infrastructure of this college is extremely low. It is just a building on the top of a hill with very less plants and trees. The ambience is also below average.
