They focus more on academics than the placement of students.
The course curriculum is very exhaustive. There is a trimester system followed. There are always assignments quizzes and presentations given to provide internal marks to the students. Some subjects are not at all relevant but exist just to increase the credits.
The placement and internship opportunities are okay and degrading year by year. Because the management focuses only on academics and that's why doesn't care about the companies and placements of the students. Almost 90%-95% children get placed. The institution doesn't take any step to prepare the students for the placement season.
There is only a management and cultural fest that is Ximera where people from different colleges come and participate in events organised by respective clubs of the college. At the end, there is cultural competition. The fest is not that grand because we don't get much funds.
Expensive. There is no additional charges that a person has to pay. But they take to the international trip for which they charge a huge amount. There is transperancy in the fee-breakdown. They provide all kind of mode of payments for the payment of the fees.
I didn't avail any. Some people are given scholarship on the basis of economic background of students.
Gender ratio is 50:50, Diversity is there but mostly South-indian people are there. Campus Life is not that great. Good opportunity to get into extracurricular activities and competitions. the clubs are also very active. Different festivals are celebrated because of such a diverse culture.
Yes, three-sharing rooms are there. Quality is not that good. In first year there are no attached bathrooms even. Only good thing is that campus is very near to the hostels. First year girls get to stay in hostel which is inside the college campus.
Not much helpful. They just give insights on their working experience in the joining the companies through college placements.
I got through my MAT and XAT scores. After that I had to go through the GD/PI process. And then based of all of that and my academic qualifications, they selected me. They mostly look at overall achievements of students before selecting and also they evaluate on the basis of attitude and confidence of an applicant.
The faculty are not that great or supportive. The attrition rate of faculty is high because of the poor management of college. Mostly there are male faculty with only a few having a great work experience or certifications. They don't have that level of expertise in the subject they teach.

Choices of specialisation (as I wanted to take Information System which is not offered by most of the colleges), campus atmosphere (lush green campus, cool and quiet), placement data and affiliation to Mysore Univ (one of the oldest and reputed Universities of the country.
Delloite, Bata, ICICI, HDFC, Marico, RB, KPMG, Adobe, etc were the companies that visited in 2018. The average package was 5-6 lpa and some of the common offered profiles were management trainee, tax analyst, BDE. The placement process is good and strict. The college also offers programmes to groom the students and make them placement ready. The referrals are not that good (but you can always build a network on your own). The E-Cell is good and is in association with Wadhwani group.
