The college overall is nice and well managed. They also have a good ambiance.
The curriculum is expirence oriented and teaches you the things required as a professional. It also gives outdoor exposure of the latest working methods of the market and also the projects. The field of architecture is mainly design oriented and requires also Design skills.
Architecture college does not provide direct placement but it does help. Yes the 9th sem is internship at any firm.
Our college has a yearly cultural program and a sports event organised by the students council team. The council consist of students of third year and the program is organised also with the help of students from other years. Also our college has an intercollege sports event.
Like the fee structure is little more than feasible. For admission other fees such as admission form charges etc have to be paid. The college provides a general fee-breakdown for the entire amount. Othet fees and charges, funds etc are taken randomly in between the year.
No, I haven't opted for ant scholarship or education loans. But yes my college also has scholarship facilities.
In this field the gender ratio is approx 50-50. The college does provide extracurricular activities to students. It has various labs such as computer lab, material lab etc. Also various events are available to the students which they can take part in.
No, I haven't opted for the hostel facility. But yes the campus also has hostel facility for boys and girls. The boys and girls have separate hostels. I am not so sure and aware about the charges and services.
The senior students and some alumni are reachable. They share thier expirence with us which is really helpful.
I was interested in Architecture. And thus applied for it after my board exams of 12th. Then gave my NATA exam and submitted its score. Then later got an admission in this college. The score admission is based on Nata scores, and the marks obtained in 12th exam.
The faculty of my college is really efficient and expirenced. They are also practicing architects in different firms which helps us also a lot. The have vast knowledge in thier field and subject. Also we have guest lecturers and visiting faculties coming to our college which are really good as they give us new knowledge outside the syllabus.
There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
The college provides many side activities to the students so that they can sharpen their skills and understand much more than their academic course. Many events are celebrated at our college. Also, the college provides facilities such as medical, computer Science centre, recreational room, drawing studio, auditorium, library, cafeteria and large classrooms.
I got into TSAP through my JEE Main scores (any positive score is taken into consideration based on the cut off) and my board scores (minimum of 50%). Each year the eligibility criteria might differ hence check the official website of TSAP.
Most of the B.Arch graduates prefer doing their masters before getting into a job. TSAP has a placement cell striving for its students, many of the students have got placed in some renown architectural firms in and around Mumbai.
I wrote JEE mains and NATA as I was very determined in getting into architecture someway or the other. Luckily I got into B.Arch at TSAP with my NATA score and Board score cumulative. One has to score a minimum of 50% in his/her boards. The NATA and JEE mains cut off varies from year to year.
Placement training at TSAP is excellent, we have frequent workshops, the institute even takes up live projects where students could lend a hand. Most of them do their post-graduation and the rest of them get placed in firms for experiencing a job.
The college management including the teaching and non-teaching staff has always been helpful.
