It is a home university and no such thing called student union as a whole, so keep your enemies closer than your friends to survive and flourish.
There is regular classes without or with very few offs, but most of the subjects are theoretical and less practical driven. We almost don't get placements and have to opt for higher studies for which it's a well known platform for sure. In our 4th and final year we however get exposure to outside world and is more practical oriented. We have 15 libraries around the campus with smart technologies. We have entire Practical course sometimes and have to grow grains like farmers with secures us grades.
There is a placement cell more guidance with one of our assistant professors as in-charge. But there is hardly any on campus placements. Students after completing Master's degree however get into various jobs including government and non-government, the information of which reaches us through social media groups.

In my college, palli siksha bhabana (AGRICULTURE dept) gender ratio i.e. boy:girl is 3:1. We have students from all over India as well as foreign countries. Our university as a whole is a follower of Brahma samaj as was followed by our founder Rabindranath Tagore. There is a students committee with members selected by our senior-most batch to organize cultural events like freshers and farewell, teacher's day, foundation day, tapan memorial, etc.

We address our seniors as Dada and Didi and do we call our professors. We are like a family with all kinds of formal and informal help at every hour of need. Our alumni network is well established with souvenirs and online registration facilities. We celebrate Reunions every 2 years.
I filled up the admission form from VBU official site and got into through the 1st counseling based on merit list. There are 3 counseling towards admission based on the merit list. There are 60 seats for bachelor's program for agriculture. The admission procedure takes place around may-june and session starts by july-August. The form fill-up is however restricted to March. Lecturers are mainly scientists or doctorate holders. There is a distinction between between assistant professors and professors based on projects submitted. We are sometimes asked to submit feedback forms for better interaction. There are more than 45 faculty members for 8 departments under Our bachelor's, Master's and doctorate degreess with HODs of every department and a principal as well as vice principal for the entire bhabana.
Placements scenario is not so good, it's average. And if you choose this university leaving a private college, then your decision is better. Packages are mostly in between 3-5 lacs. The multinational company visit every year, BCKV provide every student job and make them earning, and alumni are very notable.
Students from the 7th semester are eligible for campus placement. Our seniors are in the 5th semester. So, no placement till now. This course is research-based so students are preparing for post-grad. As TNU didn't have ICAR affiliation so we are not eligible for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). This course is also focusing on entrepreneurship. Government jobs like AFO, NABARD are targets of the majority of students. Private job as Agri consultant is in demand nowadays. I want to pursue Agri-Bussiness Management for my post-graduation.
After 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Tata rallies, Pan seeds, Indoderma Chemicals, Ujjiban Small Finance Bank, Iffco etc and about 100 placement have been made by them. Highest package is 55000/month and avg is 30000/month. 25% of all students is getting placement each year
1st I want make bad remarks which I want to mention. More lecturers is needed in our campus. More good laboratory is needed.
No.my university is good. The Neotia University management is good.
Nothing bad. Management is doing their job well for our university.
College management is very good. Sometimes it would feel strict but sometimes it would feel so free
Overall this university is very much good for pursuing B.sc. Agriculture. This university has a great reputation in bringing advancements in the farming society. The management is not that much good but it is enough to become a good personality.
Education system is very good. Teachers are very ground to earth. They are very helpful. The environment is very good for a student and they are suit in this environment very easily. The teachers availablity is less
