RIT is good educational institution and a good platform to study and enjoy.
Rit is under Ktu university. In rit, there are 2 internal exams and an external exam. Internal exam is out of 30. Actually internal exams are more beneficial to our external exams. Almost the same questions are asked in the external also. And the exam structure and the whole system makes students more capable of facing interviewes and other knowledgeable thinkings.
Rit have a good placement cell. companies like wipro, suntech, tcs etc are participated in the placement drive every year. And bunch of students got their placements.
Rit have a fest called Ritu. And have an Arts caller Keli. They are fantastic and most famous. Ritu is our cultural fest it's a 1 week program. Participate the whole departments and students from other college can also participate. If ritu is celebrated in the year and the next years we celebrate keli.
Fee structure is most feasible. Rit is a government college. As per government rules and regulations fees are very feasible. In Mtech, tuition fee is 6000 for one semester and exam fee is around 1000. and yearly there is a special fee of 3500. And for me there is bus fare of 1500. other than this, there no other fees.
I'm a non-gate student. So, I don't have any stipend as per rules. But iam applied for e grantz scholarship. It's for the students who have annual income less than 1 lakhs. I directly applied it through akshay and I submitted the copy in my college. I got the scholarship in my 1st year. And 2nd year, because of e grantz I dont want to pay my fees.
In my views, rit, the campus is a dream for every students. If your dream is To be an engineer then it's better to opt rit. There is no gender inequality. Rit have politics in between students. By its good. Rit have strike, boycott. Bt students are energetic and pass out as best engineer.
Rit have an alumni Association group. They are active all the time. They have meetups. They donate cash for the events and they are helpful.
I got the admission through merit list because its a Postgratuation. Admission through applying online. Through DTE website. On last may 2017, I applied for this mtech. And I got admission in 2nd allotment. In the application, I opt rit as 2nd. I got admission through non-gate seats. July last week, I joined at rit and cls starts from August onwards.
For computer science and engineering, faculties are less in numbers. But permanent professors are phd holders. Other adhoc faculties are mtech only. They all are knowledgeable as per their respective subjects and friendly. They support other activities to build students career.
The most important factor is the excellent placement. Also the faculty is so good, which helps you to understand the subjects deeply. The college provides excellent lab facilities. It will be a great exposure for students.
All the IT and semiconductor industries are coming to the college for placements. Over 200 companies are coming for placements. The alumni is a main factor for getting placed.
MCAP central allotment process provided by the Kerala government, the brochure is available in DTE's site and GATE should be qualified and the admission is purely based on merit and the 1st chance is given to gate qualified fellows and next for non gate.
I got admission through the entrance exam conducted by the college. The entrance exam was conducted on 10th December 2010. More than 100 students appeared for the test and only 24 got selected. RSET also support students having GATE. We are the first postgraduate students of the college. Our course started on 23 rd December 2010.
Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of engineering, physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. To get admission you should be a graduate in b.Tech with at least 45% marks. You will be selected on the basis of merit.
The institution provides with great opportunities to its students. There are internship for its students to grow. They also provide with jobs and placements. Many firms come and recruit the students. Many students take part in the placement programme.
