So i am studying BCOM from IGNOU nad as everyone know this is an open university it offers courses which we can do from distant i.e we get the study material and we study from it and we have term end examinations in June or December for each semester. Ignou is good for people who wants tovpersue some course while they are working somewhere and cant study full time. So with this they can easily manage their time and get a degree while working. The process is very simple you need to go to the online website of ignou and over there you need to register yourself with new registration and then select the course you want to register for and pay the fees yearly. This college is better then other colleges as it is a government college and the degree received formvit is a valid degree and globally accepted and they even teach in the college on weekends and after work hours so that those who cant understand some subjects they can join this classes which are for free i.e included in the fee
So i am studying CA and with that i wanted to have a degree as well so i chose BCOM because I know most what was taught in there. Since IGNOU is an open university students don't usually go there , but their are classes which are held at time that everyone who are working or busy may join them. The faculty over there teaches very well and in. Such a way that we understand easily. The term end exams are held in June or December and the exams are very easy and could be passes very easily.
Ignius does offer campus placements and it have a campus placement cell which was established in 2005 and its provides placement to the students after they complete the course. After having my degree i am planning to do MCOM OR MBA confused between these two but even these i am going to do these from ignou.
The course is extremely affordable, so i opted for BCOM and for each year the fee was just RS 2700/- and you need to pay this for 3 years which is so affordable, which means that as a student you can afford for your own education with this much money.
The study material is delivered to your house via speed post and the study materials are very self explanatory. The classrooms are also well maintained and clean but usually less people go for these classes. But the campus is such a calming place where you can focus and peacefully study.

Our college has its own placement cell which makes arrangements for. Placements and invites companies in our college. The average package offered by our college was around 3.5 lakhs. Various companies like Deloitte, amazon have offered placements to our college students.
The placement cell of Sgndkc actively finds companies that are hiring for an intern or for placement and provides this opportunity to students through an official WhatsApp group and on official email ids provided by the college. Students in the 6th semester become eligible for placements both on-campus and off-campus. Companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Decathlon, Wipro, Pwc, Yes Bank have visited for on-campus placement in our college. The highest package offered was around 10lcs p.a. and the average package offered lies between 3lcs-5lacs p.a. The profiles offered to vary from company to company like the no. of sales executive job offer are more than the managerial jobs offered. 70% at an average are placed by the companies which visit the campus for placements. Many students don't take offers as they have plans for further studies. My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for the CAT examination and get into a good college for MBA
The score of placements in college is 7 out of 10. Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The highest package offered is around 4-5LPA. A lot of companies visit colleges like EY, De shaw, KPMG, etc. Around 50-60% of students get placed with decent packages.
B.com Hons is one of the Best courses of DU in terms of placement and this is particularly true at SBSC. Big 4 are regular recruiters at SBSC picking up 20-30+ students each. There are also some top-notch consulting companies such as Bain as well as ZS associates that recruit students. The highest package offered was by DE shaw at 20 lakhs PA. The average Package is around 5 lakhs.
Students are eligible for placements from 5th semester. KPMG, EY, Decathlon and many other companies visited the campus for placements. Average package is between 3 - 3.5 LPA. A good percentage of students get placed because a many companies visit every year for placements.
There is a placement cell in the college that informs the students about the companies that visit the college. Final year students can enrol and get through it via tests and interviews. The average package that these companies offer is 3-4 LPA. The highest package that I have come across through the information from the placement cell is 7 LPA. I want to become an accountancy teacher so I would go for M.com after my graduation.
I chose B.com.(Hons.) because I am pursuing Chartered Accountancy as well and subjects are somewhat similar in this course. Talking about the faculty and staff of the college, I can assure you that JDMC has a great team of a teacher who is highly qualified, teachers are friendly and are good advisors as well. For every subject, there are at least 3-4 teachers. Internals are held quite often along with assignments.
After completing our degree from SOL there is not an opportunity given by the college's all the students are going personally for and giving an interview for the jobs that because this these types of colleges are not giving classes on regular basis.
The college is greatt with a great canteen and a great ground. Extra curricular activities are also great. The college needs to work a little on cleanliness. The college is air conditioned and is well equipped
Overall it was the dream come true moment for anybody who was studying in this University/college because here it was too much fun to be there
