Admission process is easy & generally start from the month of July. It is a prestigious college with good infrastructure.
Biotechnology is a developing field with a lot of career options. Faculties are experienced and very helpful. Course Structure is really good with full of practical knowledge. Many workshops are organized to develop students skills. Training and Projects are also included in course curriculum for the better exposure with industrial experiences.
The placement cell is very active and supportive. Placements generally starts from end semesters. Packages are also good provided by the companies. Campus placement also provide a good exposure to reputed companies.
Fees is affordable compare to other colleges, different scholarship programs are also available.
Annual fest is awesome, conducted usually in the month of Feb and March. Library and classrooms are good. Many extra curricular activities and inter college sports competitions are organized and always students are encouraged for participation.
For 3rd year or 7th semester, your are eligible for internship or college placements 145 company came to college and highest package is 10.5 lack per annum of Byjus company and average package is 4.5 lakh per annum overall company based. There is no specific percentage of students getting placement but have a good cgpa is good enough. My plans after getting a degree are MTech for higher study.
From the 5th semester students are eligible to appear for campus placements where they are offered good packages from various companies according to their grades and overall performance in the past years. Students having the desired calibre for getting the designation are given upper hands. Personally, I have no such fixed plans after my graduation. I might try for corporate jobs or pursue further education or try in the defence sector.
Placements are the best part of this college it all depends on a student eligible to crack it the topmost MNCs comes here like cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra etc and non-tech companies are welcomed too with the maximum offer of 8 LPA. The students need to be 60+ in %. But some companies don’t need this criterion to be fulfilled.

Many high profile companies visited and many offers were also made to them. The highest package was 14 lac/annum and the average package was 4.5 Lac/annum. Around 60% of the students got placed in the campus placement. I planned to join civil services.
The placement of the college is good enough. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Wipro, byjus, HCL, Adani, axis bank, etc come for the offers, The average package is 3.5 lakh per annum, The highest package is 12 lakh per annum, Near about 50-60% of student get placement while some opt for M.tech.
Placements here is average. Approx 30 to 40% of students get placed every year. Maximum no. of students prepare for competitive exams like Gate etc. The average package here is 2 to 3 lac which for tech students. Core students prepare for Gate.
It is a good college. It is most certainly not everyone's first choice anyone would be lucky if manage to get here. But, students have to work on themselves to improve their employability apart from the curriculum. This, the institute also supports and gives a platform if someone wants to do something in arts (singing, dancing, photography, etc) or entrepreneurship. Infrastructure is good but not sufficient, there is a shortage of seats in the hostel.
I am proud to be a student of OP Jindal University. The College is blessed with brilliant staff, best infrastructure and best facilities. For any student looking seriously at their career ought to look for admission in OP Jindal University.
I had always dreamt of becoming an Engineer and hence attained admission for Btech in OP Jindal University. Admission procedure was solely based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. It's also necessary to confront an Interview.
