Admission process is through EAMCET or ICAR-UG, for EAMCET farmer's quota available. Campus and hostel facility is quite good, but can't expect good placements one can go for higher studies like Mtech, Mba, Post graduate diploma after graduation.
Faculty and staff are quite good, high qualified faculty, but preparation towards future should be our own. For exams books and materials are sufficiently available in library, if preparation is quite well it's not that difficult to pass.
At the end of 2nd, 3rd years, students will be sent to trainings with stipends and have a fair opportunity for students with more gpa to go for abroad training. One on campus project also will be conducted.
From final year onwards students get placement offers. Mahindra and Mahindra and other soil and water department companies will visit, but maximum of students prefer higher studies and govt. Jobs. Highest package is about 3-4 lpa.
Both students with EAMCET and ICAR-UG seats, scholarship will be provided. At the end of 2nd, 3rd year we will be sent to training in various Agricultural related institutes all over india. Fee is comparatively less.
Every year fresher's day and college day will be celebrated.Occasions like Ganesh chaturdi will be very exciting. Books will be allotted to students in library through library cards issued by college. Much importance is given to various indoor and outdoor sports, competitions will be held within college and University level and winners will be awarded.
4-5 members were allotted in each room which is sufficiently large. There were some issues in meals but both vegetarians and non-vegetarians are served seperately. Menu is quite displeasing. Laboratories, geysers are well maintained.
LIET students perform very well in campus placements too. Most of the students get placed every year. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Infosys, Microsoft are among the recruiters. Students are often gets placed with an average package of 5LPA.
As of now, we have virtual interviews and many are selected in companies like Cognizant, HCL, TCS etc with a minimum package of 3.5 lakh/annum and a maximum of is 8 lakh/annum. We will also have coaching for the GATE exam in our college for higher education.
Students from the final year are eligible for the campus placements. To date, two batches have passed out of IIT Tirupati. Last year the highest package was around 43 lakhs, and the average package is approximately 13 lakhs per annum. Various companies, including Amazon, Microsoft, Tata, Wipro, L&T, Bosch, etc., have attended campus placements to recruit students. The institute has a placement percentage of 92%.
I have appeared for EAMCET. But i have joined in this college through payment seat. There are so many colleges in visakhapatnam but the reputation of this college make me to join in this college.
