Entrance Preview
I came here through GATE 2015. I am a 2015 pass out and got this excellent college. i am keenly interested in Electronics Engineering so I decided to take course here. This college is best for masters in electronics and communication.I was also selected in IIT BHU, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay and IIT Roorkee but I took admission here because of its course structure.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is well designed. the electives are so added that give us industrial exposure as well as teaching skills. Presently I have selected signals and communications which are my area of interest.
Internships Opportunities
Internship experience is good. I got information that my college allows every student to take internship at any place. It also provides stipend of Rs.12400 per month.
Placement Experience
As it is one of the oldest institutes in India and is one of te oldest IITs the placement scenario is best here. Companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance, Google, etc and many more come here for placements.
College Events
Concetto-College TechfestShriyam-College art festivaland many more. Every department has its own technical events also and international conferences also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible.I have paid Rs.30700 for first semester and Rs.14800 for second semester. I will pay Rs.19800 and Rs.14800 for next semester. The fee structure includes all basic needs of students like health, insurance etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I am a GATE candidate so I get Rs.12400 per month. College also provide same scholarship to the topper if he/she doesn't get the scholarship. College also allow students to take other scholarships like state scholarships, etc.
Campus Life
This is my first time i am outside my home and this institute is awesome. Special playgrounds, transport facilities, Student Activity Center, etc are for students only. Various games are allowed here. Technical and extracurricular activities are mainly focused.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is best here. We have separate rooms. 24/7 internet facility. Clean toilets. newspaper room, playing room tv room, cleanliness is maintained everyday. Specially fire safety equipment are here which makes me feel safe.
Alumni/Alumna
In every Techfest Alumnus attend and sponsors the event. Alumnus are there in companies like Amazon, Mahindra & Mahindra, Flipkart, Youtube, etcSeniors from IT companies also help us.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is very dynamic. here all your concepts and knowledge are checked. Teachers helps you to increase knowledge since exams are based on curriculum and current technology.
Faculty
The faculties are very good. Some faculties are IITians and form IISC Bangalore alumnus. They clear our knowledge with thorough teaching and adds a practical touch while teaching.

Remarks
I came across about the course nanotechnology at Central University of jharkhand through newspaper ad. I find the course very fascinating and also the course was Integrated M.tech course. So, i find it great opportunity to learn about the nanotechnology. Also the fee for the students are subsidised to some extent as the University is under central government.

Admission
For the higher study, I did m.tech, because wants to go in the research field in computer science and engineering, cloud computing, my Moto is to do research and learn about the something new concept of the algorithm, coding, web pages, already I am doing coding works in how to secure cloud computing from the environment and hacking.

If you keep interest in Agriculture. You should take admission in this college. It is a total agricultural college. It is a state government University so it has some benefits of fee waiver. Students here can also prepare for other exams apart from course.

I just want that 2 main reason that it is still not popular. It is still in it's temporary campus. Placement scenario of engineering students is not good. Government should focus on this aspect to improve the education quality.

Positive thing is that you will get the superb guidance of the faculties of one of the premiere institute of India. You will get feel of National Institute there, you will have all the things at a single time The bad thing of the campus is that it doesn't have a canteen for even a small thing you have to go out.

The College management is extremely helpful and they are a team of strong and dynamic personalities who have a great vision to see the College excel and are working day and night to make their dream come true. Taking admission in RVS College of Engineering and Technology was one of my best decisions, and I am sure the College is on the way to becoming one of the best institutions in the country to provide world-class education and environment to the students. I miss my College. A proud RVSCET alumnus.

Right now, infrastructure is not good.. but soon it will be it will be ok.. because construction is going on. Advantage:- IIIT Ranchi is running in Nit Jamshedpur. So too much fun and diversity.
