The university has a full-fledged placement cell which arranges campus interviews for us. You can also seek counselling from this cell. Organizations that come for placements are Dhan Foundation, Monsanto, Vardhan biotech etc. The placement records are reasonably good.
Regarding the eligibility criteria for admission in this course, you should have graduation degree B.sc in relevant field with at least 60 per cent from this university or any other recognized university. I got admission on the basis of my graduation marks. Merit basis is the criteria for admission.
Hostel rates are really acceptable. The cafeteria is well equipped with all the basic amenities. The good thing about the cafeteria is it is managed by the students. Rooms are in good condition and the quality of food is normal.
This college has highly experienced and highly intelligent teachers. They all are experts in their fields and have a good hold on their subjects. They make sure that the study of a particular subject includes the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
We have a lot of extracurricular activities. Intercollegiate youth festival is the most awaited event in our college. Intercollege sports meet is also a major event in our college. Various seminars related to agriculture are organized by the college.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The curriculum includes two semesters with fruit science, vegetable science, floriculture and landscape architecture etc. number of exams depend on the paper. The exam structure is hectic because there are too many papers for a single subject. If you have an interest in this area it will worth it.
