The course is 3 years programme. It is well covered with all the required syllabus . Internals and other exams are held properly. Some days are hectic and some days are good and very much relaxing. It's a very interesting course to study here. Me and my friends also went to nearby places to visit in our free time.
Placements are really good here. Many public/private organisation come for recruitment . Many of my seniors got placed in amazing places. The package offered is also decent and not so low. One must sit for placement here.
The college has many centres like Advanced centre for Ayurveda, Center for public health and many other more. I participated in many events also. College organises events like workshop on first aid for mental health, national conference on mental health education, national level workshops on non invasive brain stimulation and many more. They are very interested and knowledge-based.
MD is a 3 years course with a few structure of Rs.2,00,000. I find it little expensive but it's a high level course after MBBS too. And the college is well maintained also. The course fee of many other courses are different than MD
The campus has a good collection of flora and fauna generous and exotic varieties of plants been preserved on the campus. The college is very much into environmental safety. I liked about it . The Research Center of college provides information about the genetic basis for disease causation and developing prognostic and clinical predictors and diagnostic inventory/ checklists. NIMHANS has Biomedical Engineering Section which is responsible for testing, repairing, and maintaining proper and safe operating conditions. The cafeteria food is also good and has varities mostly south indian obviously. Hostel facilities are also good here. NIMHANS includes the Diagnostic Center with therapeutic pieces of equipment. The College has well developed and the well-stored library for students, staff, and doctors so the research programs move easily. The library has both national and international journals. The library gives online journal subscriptions to its students and staff so that students get convenient to study.
The candidate should have passed MBBS degree or its equivalent qualification recognized by MCI The candidate should qualify NEET-PG.. Admissions are also taken on the basis of the entrance exam.
The teachers are very friendly and supportive in the college. I find them from my opinion.college has many departments and each department is provided with highly qualified and experienced teacher. Their teaching methods are very amazing.
Good Aspects: Academic Excellence, Highly Qualified and experienced faculties, Excellent senior junior relationship, an amazing campus environment, record-breaking placements and internship opportunities, Student-driven Campus. Bad aspects: Pressures and Competency. Admission at TAPMI is done on the basis of weightage in the following factors such as CAT, WAT, PI, and Diversity.
The personal interview process is one of the parameter of the admission procedure. Through the PI, the student's communication skill, reasoning ability, and logical skill is determined. Questions related to current industry trends, changing global market scenario, personal interests, work experience are asked.
I gave the CAT exam and scored an overall percentile of 92% and registered in the college. Then I was called in for a personal interview after which I appeared for a Written Ability Test. Along with the CAT score, my academic performance in school (10th and 12th class) were also taken in account along with my work experience of 1.5 year. Based on the aggregate of these parameters I qualified and thus was admitted to the college.
The placement opportunity is brilliant in the college. Top companies visited our campus for our recruitment. Many of my batchmates were selected by renowned companies such as Amazon, Procter & Gamble, Accenture, etc. The average package offered for our batch was above INR 25 LPA.
This was the first University I came to know about a s child and later on I got to know about other universities and after 12th just gave it a shot on the entrance and luckily got into it. Equal balance between studies, co curriculars and extra curriculars. I chose Economics honours because that subject always interested me in school also and economics is the subject that I scored the most in class 12 boards.
Since I just completed my 1st year I do not have complete details about how the process for placement and job opportunities go. But every student does get placed in some or the other company with a great package of salary structure.
The best budget college and the best institution to earn knowledge in Banglore is M.S.Ramaiah Institutions.
