MY JOURNEY IN LPU.
REMARKS
No there is nothing negative about the college. All faculty members were supportive. The infrastructure was quite good. There were many active clubs like E-cell, dance club, singing society and many more. Overall, it was the best place for me .
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
The fees of my course was high in comparison to other private universities. But, the campus life, academics and extra curricular activities were good according to the fees. My B.Tech (CSE) total fees was Rs.804,000 for 4 years.
PLACEMENT WING
In LPU , the rate of Placement is very high. From my batch about 95% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was INR. 42 LPA by Microsoft. College supported each and every student for the placement process. The top Recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon India, Mahindra, Google, Axis Bank , Infosys, Flipkart, Wipro etc.
ADMISSION
An entrance exam is organized by the university i.e. LPUNEST. LPUNEST is conducted twice in a year for admissions. Along with admissions, it is also treated as a scholarship test. LPUNEST will be exempted if student has scored more than or equal to 90% aggregate marks in 12th. As I scored 91% in my 12th that?s why I was eligible for it.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
Yes, I opted for hostel.According to me, it was 9/10.There were 4/3/2/1 seater room with an option of Air conditioner was available. Rooms were attached with washroom, bed, table, chair, almirah etc. Electricity consumed after the free limit was charged on actual basis. My monthly fees was 12k including food charges.
FACULTY
Our many professors were well experienced though few were just freshers. They all were very supportive. College follows rule of minimum 75% attendance of every students. Faculty Members were well qualified and well-experienced in their own fields.
CAMPUS LIFE
The extracurricular activities offered a wide range of sports, academic and cultural events. At my time, I had the choice to join the sports team of cricket, football, basketball etc. Many fests were held at the university which provided the students to showcase their talents and won awards.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Course Curriculum was updated as per the latest trend in the market. Subjects were different in each semester. The university also offered many other courses. Hence, the Course Curriculum was relevant for students.Exam Structure of this University was good at that time. Exam Pattern was divided in two categories which included internal exam and external exam organized by the university.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Scholarship is offered at the time of admission on the basis of 12th board and also offered on the basis of sports, cultural performance. Scholarship is provided on the basis of marks in LPUNEST also. I got scholarship on the basis of my 12th score.
