Studying at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences was one of the best opportunities I got to have for studying medicine. I launched my career spectacularly by attending this fine institution, and I learned from talented doctors and teachers.
I felt that the course curriculum was very good. It was definitely not too relaxed, you will not have so much personal time at the end of your day. But I liked it cause it gave me time to learn practicals too.
Placements are always available in the medical field as the job opportunities are so numerous. The placement cell works to get every single student a job at some sort of practice, so this is not a concern.
It is so affordable to study medicine in this college! You don't need to worry about fees at all. The total fees for the 4 years degree will be a little less than or around 2 lakh rupees in total, which is very good compared to the medical degrees.
With so much practical work, and opportunities to learn with doctors as they conduct their work, you may do a lot of labs as part of your extracurricular activities. Plus, there will be workshops and seminars too.
I had good marks from my 10+2 boards, well over the required 50% needed to apply for RMLIMS. Then, as per the requirements of medical degrees, I took the UG NEET entrance exam and got a good rank. The admission here is based on the same process.
I think faculty was well-trained in all the subjects that they taught. I felt that they knew how to teach well because they gave us so many chances to learn through practical coursework along with giving us theory in materials.
IMS has a reputation for providing great placements, companies arrive with some tempting job offers for students. By the end of the 4th-trimester placement, drives get a start and students get ample opportunities to sit in the interview placement. Despite the slow economy last year, a total of 131 companies have arrived in placement drives. Some of the prominent recruiters from last year's batch are Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Federal Bank, ITC, WIPRO, ICICI group, Berger Paints, S&P Global Market Intelligence, etc. The highest international package last year was around 16 LPA and the highest domestic salary offered was 12 LPA while the average package was 6 LPA.
Every year 75 to 80% of students will be placed in different related companies. At least 3 job fair bills organized on our college campus every year. Different companies will come to your college like Tata marcopolo, TCL, Logitech.
Factors that made me choose this college is it's academic excellence, experienced faculty members and good campus and also less fee structure. Teachers are very cooperative and experienced they explain every concept in detail
The companies that visit our campus are mostly a average companies companies like FAANG do not visit but many companies do visit and hire students with an average 5lpa package.
Because of good education and good study materials and libraries and grounds for sport. And this college is also near from my home city and good for B. Tech. This is because I choose this college for my education.
For a year there are 20 to 50 students are placed for a company and other jobs like Byjus the education app.
As it is one of the best college among private colleges and also affiliated to AKTU. Faculty, infrastructure and other technical support are best among other private colleges. Lab have limited objects but they manage to provide us all. Library is quite good and spacious and number of books related to our course are also available in numbers.
Many companies visit for placement like Amazon, Wipro, Samsung, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, etc. 4-5 students are placed in Amazon, rest are also placed in other companies. Process for placement is through interview and coding and all. I think according to other private colleges Galgotias College have the best placement record.
