The placements at my university are really good. For batch 2019 over 500 students were successfully placed. The highest placement package was 29.63 lacs per annum. Top recruiters included Genpact, Tech Mahindra, Honda, hp, Flipkart, Accenture, Infosys, KPMG, Toshiba, Quick Heal, EY, Coca Cola, Hero, Ericsson, Adobe, iGate, Sapient, Vodafone, Cognizant etc.
Campus placements up till now are one of the best in Punjab. It provides better placements than PTU or Punjabi Univesity but comparing to private universities GNDU somewhere lags behind. The highest package is around 12 LPA and the Average package every year is around 4 LPA which is good but not that much as that of CU, Chitkara or LPU.
Good Aspects: Academic Excellence, Highly Qualified and Esteemed Faculties, Student-driven Campus, Impressive placement records, High rankings, classroom learning experience, Collaborations and Partnerships, etc. Bad aspects: peer pressures. I was attracted to DAVIET based on both its academic reputation as well as knowing several others from my high school whom I respected attending here ahead of me. DAVIET has lived up to its academic reputation and more. I have found opportunities for personal growth and development not only academically, but also to expand beyond classroom knowledge. Most of my professors in my major have real world experience outside of academia and it shows. The professor for the capstone class in my major was instrumental in guiding me to an internship this past summer which greatly expanded my professional experience
Maths is my favorite subject hence I decided to study further by choosing Msc in mathematics. The college. The selection criteria was based on my graduation marks and my PU-CET entrance exam. Later on I was called for an interview.
The placement is very good. The college provides internships as well. Many students got a job in various places. I got placed in MVN school as a professor or mathematics. My classmates some of them went for higher education and some were placed in big companies.
Companies come every year and students are always selected at a rate of 60% with a salary package of 6 to 10 lacs last year over 60 companies were come and selected over 100 students every student got a good package.
Overall remarks are good buOnly one major problem in the college is of the library as there are no proper books available in the library which is the most negative point of the campus but overall facilities such as the medical facilities is very good and accommodation and food are on the top side
