As it is a girls college security is very nice here seeing today's world it is very important to be secure and safe. College infrastructure is very nice nd the library is big and contain all kind of books you can think of
Course curriculum is not that up to date it is kind of outdated but the faculty is very nice they will treat you like family only. You won't feel like outsider at any point of the day. They clear doubt very nice and take inputs from the students as well which is not done at many places
Placements are not provided for BCA but last year for BBA placement was there 3-4 students did get placed in well recognized companies. Ans even for the interview preparation 2-3 seminars / webinars took place which were kinda Informative
Fees is moderate, to be honest it is less as compare to the services and environmental which is being provided in return. Fee structure is okay not that expensive. It is economical. Scholarship is provided to students who are in need of this as well as who deserve it. Information is circulated to every student of every department. No student is left behind at any point of time
Campus life is not much in this, the expectations which you have from college all of those won't get fulfill as even if any event takes place here they will be taking place in morning or evening only. So there's that. But on the other hand celebrations like teachers day, students day, international sports day ,freshers, farewell etc do take place
I don't know about campus recruitment tbh, I am still in my final year. But I have talked about it with my seniors. The story is a bit bitter. Companies joining in recruitment are almost none, and those who join have no industrial growth. So if you expecting a job through campus recruitment, drop it, fella. If we talk fair, BCA is a bachelor's degree, and you cant expect a high pay job anywhere in India. But still, if you wanna earn some bucks, you can apply for local IT companies with a decent pay of 10000-12000 per month. My pane after BCA is to get some industry experience through 2 3 internships (of about 3 to 4 months) and then I will go for my master's (probably MCA, M.Sc AI, or M.Sc in Data Science.
Good is about the building and the garden area which provide you a better enviornment for studies.
I got admission on the basis of entrance exam. Admission process requires 50-65•/• in the 12th board exam. Also, 50 percent marks minimum required in entrance exam. The entrance exam was not so tough and was not so easy from my point of view. Before entrance an application form is mandatory to fill on the online university site.
The placement are fine. Some year good companies come some year not so good.. As the city is not like other metropolitan city so the companies vary every year. Many of senior friends applied through outside also and some applied for placement also.
The college is really very good for a student who want to become something in his life. Teh academics is really good and faculties always try to nake their students at the peak of success. The college management is awesome and it also ensures that number of lectures per subject should be matched even when their are holidays. They try to cover it by running college on off days. If you are in Poornima then you will be placed if you do follow your faculties.
Need To update the course (Talking about Bca). Need stable faculties and more practical knowledge. Need more focus on projects. Need Internships (more Practical knowledge). Infrastructure is really good and Director Mam of the college (MS. Roopal Poddar) is really sweet person, she do really gets feedback from the students and do listen to their complaints. Overall I have great time in college.
