    My college is the best college in the North-East and one of the best colleges in the country. The thing I like the most about my college is the patient flow. I opted for the course because I have wanted to be a doctor since childhood.

    PLACEMENT WING

    We have internship in our hospital after the degree is complete. The internship is of one year duration and the pay during the internship is around 30000 per month as of now.

  • COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

    My course is as per the national guidelines by the MCI. Yes, we are provided with enough exposure in the college, especially in regards to the patient exposure. The faculties are superb and expert in their respective fields. My favourite teacher is Dr. Bornali of the Biochem Department.

    All the cultural activities and festivals in the college are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. The college week, sports days, and many other events are celebrated annually, and the participation is enormous.

As I am a first-semester student I do not know much about the placement but I know that companies do visit and they offer a decent amount of package and almost 25-30% of students get placements there. I am planning for my own business after completing.

What you can expect if you study here

Placement -

To my knowledge, I don't think any companies visit our college. The faculty do send students to certain companies they have connections in. And I have no idea about the placement percentage and average package. I have heard numbers being thrown away from others but I am not sure. As for me, I plan to study further after getting my degree. I am also working on my website makemefine.com. Do visit it if you like.

I choose this university because of electronics department, this subject has a unique base and rather then gauhati university there are not any other university in assam where i have to studied electronics. Gauhati university is also the oldest & topmost university of Assam


Placement -

The subject electronics carries lots of placement opportunities, because as i know there are lots of seniors who engaged into OIL industry, assam gas corporation. Also some of them are studying for professorship, clearing NET/SLET

The placements here are awesome. Average placement is 7 Lacs. Almost all the students get placed. Last year placement was 100%, the lowest salary was 3.5 Lacs and the highest was around 15 Lacs. Internships are also given by big companies such as amazon and others.

Placements of the college are quite impressive. But it is yet to take the high pace as it is supposed to be. Most of the students get chances of practicing under some senior advocates. And some get chances to do practice in district courts. Even some get chances to assist senior advocates privately. Almost 80% of the students get placed.
