It's government Engineering College and has a good environment for studying, it's a bit outside but the College is too good and has a great knowledgeable faculty with highest education and skills, the campus is also very adorable.
Syllabus is now updated. And now it has been designed to get prior knowledge of programming from the very first year also the academics are handled by such a great principal (also a scientist Dr. M.R. Khan ) has mastery in the field of telecommunication.
The placements are pretty well and a lot of highly income sourced companies hires student majorly in the IT sector, thus more chance of getting hired in IT sectors. Also the College make you prepare for GATE, personal enhancement stuffs with coaching and learning materials for absolutely free.
It's pretty good the hostel is also too good.there are two separate hostels for each category like boys have two hostels for senior and juniors and same for girls, the campus has everything starting from gymnasium to a outdoor sports ground like cricket football etc.
- Placements occur in the final year of college, various companies visit colleges and conduct interviews. - Few of the companies that visited the campus are TCS, IBM, Doubtnut, Oracle, Pie Infocomm, etc.,
IIM Raipur is one of the best business schools in India. IIM Raipur is ranked at 19th position by the NIRF ranking under the management category. The course curriculum of the institute is designed in a way to provide a proper balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Initially, the admission process involves CAT examination and then the performance of candidates in the GD, PI, WAT, work experience and academic records are considered.
Yes, CAT exam scores and personal interview rounds play an important role in the selection process. The exam focuses on Logical reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General knowledge. After the candidates are selected on the basis of CAT score, they are called for a Personal Interview. Past academic records, work experience, personal appearances, gender diversity and reservation policy are also considered during the final selection process.
Good: Great international connections, a good number of highly qualified and esteemed faculties, state of art infrastructure, and quality educational services. Bad: Unavailability of campus in the city limits. Admission: Admissions are usually based on the CAT scores and WAT&PI. Based on the student's performance in these admission factors, weightage is determined and then the seats are alloted.
Group Discussion round was terminated and only WAT and Personal Interview is conducted. For the Written Ability Test, Students are asked to write 300 words at any general topics such as Inflation, Polticial movements, stock market exchanges, etc. In the personal interview process, the students are asked about their past academic and work experience, general knowledge about the current marketing scenario, world economy and annual budget, etc. Mostly, the personal interview gets over within 20 to 30 minutes.
Students are generally eligible for the seventh semester. There is a good number of companies which are coming every year. This year more than 100 companies visited the college like Amazon, Samsung, Wipro, Adobe, FIAT, Siemens, Infosys, Reliance, Oracle, etc. The average package was 9.5 LPA this year. A good percentage of more than 75 % of students get selected every year. I am also want to work as a software developer.
I selected NIT-Raipur because, after IITs, NITs are the best institutes in India and being a NITan is a matter of prestige. Due to COVID-19 I didn't apply for many competitive examinations due to the fear of the pandemic and then one day while searching on the internet I saw a notice in which I applied for NIT- Raipur for my masters through UG marks basis during the month of September in the year 2020. So far I am very satisfied with my institute and the way they are managing the online classes.
From final year students become eligible for campus placement. The companies visited in my department was Vedanta which selected 6 students among total 15 strength. The average package offered from my department is 4 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is 40%. My plane after getting the masters degree is to crack competitive exams like GSI or GATE or ONGC.
It is very fewest of the B.Tech Biotechnology colleges in the Chhattisgarh state. So it was on of the criteria for my selection. Secondly it's campus environment felt warm and friendly. On my orientation program I got to meet my HOD who was very nice to me and it felt like this was the one. Admission process is quite simple, you just have to fill a form and give safety amount for the admission along with the admission fee.
Placement opportunities are not very good and I would suggest you to go for open placements rather than relying on campus placement. But companies such as Infosys, Reliance,Tata steel, Medanta, Byjus, Toshiba, etc come for placement. The highest package offered till date is 3lakhs per annum. The Lowest package is 50000 per annum. And the average package ranges between 1-2 lakhs per annum.Only about 30-40% students get campus placement.
This is the leading college of the state and college also has good infrastructure that is designed in eco-friendly manner. The course which I took was my passion towards the AI and the reason I opted this course.
We have a good placements in our college, last year 5-7 lakh per annum was the average package of our college. The faculties give proper attention towards the students in making them ready for the market. And they support when we need their help.
