Lot of things were there,the college was a reputed one,the departments were good,the teachers were fantastic,also most importantly the subject for which i applied,the department for that was really good,so all those factors,combined made me decide to choose this college

Placements are more or less good,though not excellent,but they are good,also it depends on a person's hardwork
College Events
Numerous cultural festivals are held,along with debates and other things,those are fantastic,also several seminars are held,a lot of thimgs can be learned from those,it is really good,apart from that
Campus Life
Sports is really good,we have a gym too,wifi is a bit slow in some places but overall it is good,the library is pretty big with numerous books,as for the lab,i dont know exactly about the equipment,overall it is really good,the infrastructure is good,maybe it will be better in the future but for now it works

For campus placement 5th-semester students are eligible. In our college, some companies are visited for campus Job such as Tata Consultancy Services, Spicejet etc. Approx 40-50% of students are selected in the interview. After graduation, I wanted to do MBA in HR.

Students can appear for placements after the 6th semester. Burjer, Asian paints, Haldia petrochemical, Jk tyres, Colgate, come here. Average package is 5LPA. Highest package is near 11-12 LPA. 80% of students get placed. I will go for PSUs through GATE and also will appear in placement rounds.

Remarks
Jadavpur University is popular as one of the most elite institutions of India. It is well-eqipped with all kinds of facilities such as libraries, digital modes of classroom, wifi, seminars, exchange programs, extracurricular activities etc. The economics department boasts of a fucultu of around 15 full-time teaching professionals. The fee structure is also quite suitable. Jadavpur University suited all the criteria I was looking for in a college, and I got the subject of my choice, so there was no looking at any other college.
Admission
Written test on higher secondary level mathematics. It consisted of 50 mcqs for 1 hr. Topics involved general logic and aptitude, calculus and arithmatic. Preparing for any competitive exams with maths as subject would suffice for preparing for the entrance.

Remarks
This college is best for the commerce student and this college is only boys college so there is more study. The teachers are educated and give there best. Every teachers of this college are very helpfull.
