The college is one of the reputed ones in Assam where there is a big opportunity for the students. The college provides with various courses of full time and distance education. The location of the college is good and one can easily communicate through public transportation.
The course syllabus is completely up to date with the new areas which are coming out. The syllabus gives us an option to have practical knowledge and exposure. The new and updated curriculum even helps to achieve marks in a very easy manner.
The placements and job opportunities is not that good of our college. The companies which come over are local companies and do not have much exposure for the freshers.
The campus life is amazing. There are various events which are held in our campus. Some of them are, Sports Week, Fests, Science Exhibitions etc. Also, various artists are called upon to judge or to inaugurate the events.
The campus of the college is very large. There are various buildings for the various departments. There are two main libraries and one main hall which can surround up to 400-500 people. The playground is very big where people can play outdoors games.
From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placement in different agricultural companies including the banking sector also. Different banks like PNB, ICICI, SBI, HDFC, etc offers frequent placement options. The average package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum after graduation. But you can opt for a Master's degree for better placement options.

No GD or PI. You are supposed give two written tests, first one is JEE Mains. After qualifying JEE Mains, You have to score a good rank in JEE Advanced. Based on your ranking in JEE Advanced, You get to sit for Jossa counselling for IIT/NIT colleges.
Suggested by a friend's parent. Most teachers are good and caring. Good campus placements. Donbosco is a known name hence preferred over others. Bad aspect is few teachers are partial and really harrass you at times.
Final year students are eligible for placement. Placements are good and all the top hotels you can think of come for campus placements. You can go for a walk in interview in any of the hotel as well. Going on cruise will earn you a bigger salary. Initially if working in hotels pay will be less but after around 3-5 year experience salary will increase a lot. Average salary package per month is 20 thousand. And highest package per month is 35 thousand. Around 80% students get placed.
I chose this college because based on my marks, I could get a seat here for the course of my choice. Seats in this college as well as university are very limited and competition is high as well. So once alloted, I took admission without a second thought.
Students can take up entrepreneurship and business as there are plenty of opportunities in this field. In terms of jobs they are eligible for ADO, AFO, AO etc in govt and banking sector. However they can also apply for general jobs, not specific for agri graduates as well
It is a well known college all over my state.And being a government college it have a wide field of scope ranging from sports,culture, traditional values and numerous competition for dancing, singing and many more.I being a local boy was extremely proud to be an part of my college.
There are few placements of people who have cracked some exams by their own determination and perseverance
The college management falls back a little as compared to the academic. you need to push the incharges to get your work done
My course is unique and is available to only two colleges in the country (Gujrat and Gauhati university). I always had a keen interest towards the medical field and lab works. Therefore a perfect spot for me. and for the admissions, i sat for an entrance exam on the 29th june of 2019. I passed it with flying colours and topped among all the other candidates. The count of participation was huge, but seats are restricted to 10. So it was a hush. We were cslled for counselling, and later admissions were given to the selected.
