REMARKS
It is one of the premier institute if India.Its s brand generally 50 percent seats are filmen through GATE exam and 50 percent through the BITS HD Exam. A GATE score of around 620 or above and a BITS HD Score of 115 or above will land you in this college.You can join BITS ME Study Group on facebook which has many alumnis of the college.Admissiom process starts in month of April and Exam happens in June.
PLACEMENT WING
1) Students become eligible for placements after 2 semester many companies visit campus and later in 3 sem we all are eligible for the Practise School. 2) Companies as CISCO, Intel,Qualcomm do visit the campus for placement purpose maximum 20 lakhs and minimum 12 lakhs this year placemets are little low till now 7/25 placed 3)I am placed in Qualcomm I will be joining this company.
CAMPUS LIFE
We have a large library which houses the various books and journals we have the E library also and we have two fests a cultural and Technical fest. All the classes are equipped with projectors. We have good ecosystem for sports and a lot of facilities are available hockey court and swimming pool etc.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
This is the second preferred branch in BITS hyd under electronics department. Students number is 28 in MTech and we have six to seven teachers assigned. All faculty are a Phd from the IITs and IISC. They follow their timelines for exams and all.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
The fees is too much high and it cost about 6.20 Lakh per year so around 12.40 Lakh for two years.This includes all the cost that one have to bear. Students who are admitted through GATE get stipend of (12400+13400) while students admitted through the BITS HD will get only (13400) as stipend.
