JNVU has been the best college in jodhpur for BBA. Many students of Jodhpur opt for this institution. The education system is average. The college is around 8 km from my home, so it is easy to go college on time.
Teachers are helpful, but they don't conduct classes regularly, so it is difficult for students to get the study notes, although they are good at the level of studies. The course curriculum is just as old, and it is not updated. It does not make the students ready for the industry and other activities.
Placements are fine in this college. But not as expected. Average companies are coming for placements like ICICI bank, oppo, fintech etc.The average package was of 1.3 Lacs which is not quite good. Internship exposure is also good in various companies.
The college management does not organise any type of events or fest in the college. Nor there is celebration of any festival. The crowd mainly consists of local students who usually are least interested in studies.
The infrastructure is low as the installation of classrooms and offices are not up to the mark as the table, chairs, cupboards and appliances are not well fitted, and cleanliness is zero. There is less maintenance of the campus and park. Wi-Fi facility, medical facilities and canteen are also not good. But sports are good at the campus.
I want to become a teacher of physics and Mathematics. So there is no other course providing this, so I choose BSc and then BEd. The student-faculty ratio is 6:12. The qualification of faculty does not matter. The only thing matter is the experience they have, the quality they give, the method of their teaching. 2 exams (mid and end sem) every semester.
Currently, internship programmes are going on in our college as we are in our 2nd year right now. Although these internship programs are very useful and make us prepare for our future interviews. Having this in our college is really good.
Overall the college is good and teachers are supportive. The college is growing and developing but it is far away from metro so students have to travel very much to attend the college and the timing of college is around 7hrs a day. So, student cannot get time for their personal work.
I have seen very hard-working people with a great experience here. The faculty, as well as the administration, is very well up with the recent trends to get the best out of all the resources.
You need to register on the official website of the college. The college has started entrance exams of there own and you can also get direct admission in regards to your previous year's marks obtained. They also provide scholarships for students who get a good percentile in the entrance exam. The exam is held around May and will be based on the 12th class.
Positive remark is a good space and classes. college provide clinical experience from first year too.Nowadays there is very much strictness in our college. Nursing college is linked to medical college so many classes held in that college too, negative remark is there is a lot of mismanagement by faculty and staff and also lazy work, principal is also lazy.
The university provides facility of commuting to avoid the difficulty to the students to reach from far flung areas of the city. The university has pressed into service a fleet of buses for the this purpose.
College is good, there are students from not only India but also Nepal, Afghanistan. There are a lot of students from North-East and South India my experience is very good.
