Amrita School of Arts and Science has a disciplined and friendly environment and also campus recruitment to various good companies. It also has trained staffs for preparing for job interviews and other job application processes.
The syllabus is not so hard for understanding and studying. Most faculty members have good knowledge in their subjects and so they are approachable for guidance in studies as well as job related enquiries. The mode of conduction of exams are not too hectic and. High discipline is one main practice in the college.
Job opportunities are good here. Wipro is one such company for campus recruitments. The college has faculty and a department itself (CIR) for the purpose of job training and recruiting.
The campus life is quite disciplined. Events mainly indcludes sports fest and cultural fests. Each deparment conducts their own fest with programmes, displays, and competitions which may altogether take 1 to 2 weeks. There is also a 2 day celebration of Mata Amritanandamayi's birthday during which lots of devotees visit the campus for visiting her there. Students volunteers to control and help the people who comes. This is one of the best part of being in this college.
Amrita School of Arts and Science has a campus near to Amrita Vidyalayam sharing a common playground. It now contains 4 blocks of buildings, and contains well maintained computer labs. The campus also has a temple which provides a divine environment in and around. The campus also includes a store which contains most necessary items and snacks which can be bought in breaktimes.
The college has a girls hostel. They conduct prayers regularly at the hostel. The rooms are shared with 3-4 students. Mobiles phones are allowed to limited times. I am a dayscholar and don't know much about it's facilities.
Ethnic day could have been included, and one road to college is bit messy and parking space is little less for all students
I chose the college because it was one of the top BBA colleges under MG University, I had to apply in MGU college admission for that I submitted my 10th and +2 certificates and was ranked 18 in the applied list and got admission in merit. I didnt get in first trial i got it in the second trial.
The college faculty is very supportive. The college encourages student participation.A feedback is always collected which is taken seriously. There is very good infrastructure. The fee is quite high. The college is often late in communication of information regarding the college.
One of the main positive remark about my College is that we have a very good infrastructure. The labs are very good and so are the faculties. The faculties are very good and friendly. Our HOD is a very academic person and hence we won't get enough fun. The negative about our College is the lack of space in our College.
Its a good place to be in. A good place to learn providing you with calm and peaceful environment. Except for the fact that you've got to travel to the nearest town for a movie or a refreshment, the college provides a good place to live and learn.
Very bad. The management should know what is happening in the well-known engineering colleges. You can see in their advertisement that VKC is the best self-financing college having all pass percentage but never advertise on their activities, their students placed in good MNCs, their involvement in society.
A bad remark is that the college offers no placement, the placement should be found out by ourselves. Rest everything is fine.
