Remarks :

The exclusivity of the course and the well structured curriculum made me opt for this college. Apart from the brand name of University of Mumbai which gets associated, the quality and background of the faculties is also pretty impressive. The prospects and the exclusivity of the course were my top priority while looking into this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very well structured, which is provided to give you theoretical knowledge along with real life implications with a case study approach and experience based perspective. The academics can be demanding and need a proper study routine to ace the examinations. The faculties are very knowledgeable with majority of them for Tier 1 colleges e.g. IIM Ahemdabad, IIT Bombay etc. The teaching experience is very personalized and faculties take a lot of efforts to ensure best quality of teaching is given.

Placement Experience :

There are ample of placement opportunities provided to the students which range from a wide array of companies and roles ranging from Marketing to Finance and from Ford motors to AT&T. The major recruiter of the campus is UTI and majorly the financial institutions with a median salary of 6 lacs. The number of companies coming for placement are increasing every year considering the campus was inaugurated in 2014.

College Events :

Campus boasts a very large participation of around 700-1000 students at their annual festival- Khwaish. Along with that each year of the 5 years have a separate event targeting sports, academics etc. Campus is host of the Youth Fest which a popular event of the Kalina campus. Participation in various India-wide festivals, competitions and academic events is also promoted on a large scale. It has various initiatives like the 'Student-Industry Interaction' to increase exposure of the students towards the corporate world.

Campus Life :

Campus has an excellent infrastructure with a proper library, internet video connected theater/seminar room and computer lab with over 50 computers with proper internet connectivity. But the Wifi in the campus is unpromising, as a lot of the times it fails to provide adequate speed to the students.

Remarks :

College management can definitely test the patience. There have been bitter-sweet experiences regarding them. But definitely, they can increase their 'helping the students' motto by notch as we often have to run from here to there just to get one work done.

Admission :

Masters is English is what I have always wanted to do considering I either wanted to go into content writing or teaching English. The procedure for the same was an entrance test which was conducted in May 2018. After which, I qualified and got in as I cleared the exam. Fergusson was always my first priority as it has excellent teaching staff for English, and who would say no to the sprawling campus. Add that to the many good food joints around it(brownie points.) The admission procedure involved confirming my seat, an online procedure, payment and voila. I was in.

Admission :

1. Eligibility criteria- score a non-zero score in either NATA or JEE main paper 2. 2. Boards- obtain minimum of 50%. I qualified both of these criteria. 3. The counselling happens under the Council of Architecture (COA). There is no management quota.

Placement Experience :

Placements are a bit complex at here, however, students go for internships getting permanent offers there, some get landed in good firms after graduation and some go for higher studies. Some alumni help us by recommending us in their firms.

Remarks :

They often tend to reschedule classes on the weekend due to attendance requirements. Moreover, there is a 85-75% attendance requirement for each course. If the attendance is till 85%, it is okay. Between 85-75% means there will be a final grade drop in that particular course, and below 75% is a repeat of the course.

Remarks :

There are a lot of facilities available for the student's overall growth. Students are required to take up an extracurricular activity in the first year of college as a part of the curriculum. Students can also do minor courses in a department of their choice, having met certain criteria.

I loved this college. Any student can study in this college because the fees are affordable and the location of the college is very prime, and the college and hostel is very close. Just it doesn't have big campus because of the prime location.

Admission :

I qualified my CAT exam and cleared my exam through applying online and after gaining a proper merit I finally enrolled myself for the MBA programme. The admission to this college was indeed my dream as the college had a good reputation among various organisations and was good with the academics.

Placement Experience :

The placement and the internship policy were amazing and most of the time we were given permission to sit for the off campus placement although the on campus placement use to happen with full hype. Companies like HDFC, TATA consultancy services, Infosys and Airtel recruit us with good salary package.

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty much on par with any of the other colleges except the top 5-7 nlu's plus pune being an education hub you get opportunities aplenty

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose ballb, the college also offers a lot of diploma courses which I will be opting for, the college, however, does not focus on the practical learning as it curriculum is outdated as compared to nlu's
