This college was referred by my senior friends who were in Pvg. The placement rates are high as compared to other colleges I know. The environment is friendly with supportive staff. The college has a good library.
Pvgcoet is affiliated to sppu. Syllabus is provided by sppu. Faculties are really supportive even in the pandemic situations. They encourage us to take part in different competition related to coding and sports.
Yes the placements are really good. 80-90% of students get selected for the jobs with good salary.
Sports facilities in Pvg is good for both girls and boys. Students are often encouraged to take parts. PVG also offers many competitions such as coding, general knowledge quiz and many more for the development of mind.
Anyone who is pursuing or has completed their graduation/diploma or any other equivalent education in any field any apply for the course. A student who have given the entrance exams like GATE, GMAT, CEED, etc. are also eligible to apply for the PG course. The selection process is through ISDI challenge rounds. The admission is granted to the institute on the basis of the marks obtained in the selection rounds.
The placement cell of the institute has brought many opportunities for the students to build a strong career for their future. The frequently visited companies in the campus are Samsung, Microsoft, Philips, Titan, and many more. The salary which is provided is 15,000-35,000 per month.
So far my experience has been great and so I will highly recommend it.
My score in standard 12 was 84% and I got admission in this college by taking the CAT exam. I fill out the application form online and after it was shortlisted done with the documentation my admission was granted.
The placement in our college is good, it mostly depends upon the student's skill and performance in the interview. Big companies like Mahindra, cognizant, Bajaj electricals, Delloite, etc visited our college and the highest salary offered is around Rs.11 lakhs.
A few things that need change are perhaps an equal opportunity for boys and girls during entrance(not limited by the 4:1 ratio).Besides this, the college is as near perfect as one can have. As I said in the title, its a college for the fortunate few and i am glad i am one of them.
Masters in Economics required to clear entrance exam, which asks basic economic question to test basic knowledge on same. I scored 82 out 100 in that exam.I opted sk somaiya college because I am inhouse student and provided subjects are quiet generic.have also heard about good faculties.
Since I have enquired about the entrance exam first..date was declared by Mumbai university. There were 40 students along with me for entrance.
