Remarks :
Indian Institutes of Technology are most precious institutes in India for engineering. Furthermore, IIT Madras is NIRF rank 1 institute. The guidance of students studying there was also taken into account. Food, Hostels, Overall culture, Placements - all these factors were considered while choosing the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Engineering Design is the unique branch of engineering offered only in IIT Madras. It was established very recently - early 2000's. Course syllabus is really well designed, organized and up-to-date.Faculties are really friendly and experts in respective fields. This curriculum also ensures good industrial exposure to students.
Placement Experience :
There are lot of opportunities in terms of placements. Many companies come for campus placements in both profiles - Core and Non- core. Registration is done through campus placement portal.
College Events :
Campus life ensures you get enough exposure to extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. IIT madras hosts It's technical fest SHAASTRA, cultural fest SAARAN in the month of January. These events are each 4 day events which are Asia's biggest student run festivals. They have huge crowd from and outside of Chennai.
Campus Life :
One word - it's awesome. It has maintained sports facilities for nearly every popular sport. Hostel, departments and mess have high speed wifi connection. Library is 3 floor tall building equipped with all the books you need during your stay in the campus. All the lab equipments are good and new.

Placement Experience :
There are much placement will be conducted in our college and they give placement training 1 week after that, the placement interview will start. Manu mnc companies and schools, colleges will come to choose their aspirant from 6 th semester, the students are eligible to attend the interview. The highest pack is about 10,000 and the average pack is 6,000 more than 80 percent of students will get a job.
Placement Experience :
The placement starts from the final year of every course students interested can enroll in the Career guidance cell of Stella Maris college, they give a brief training in aptitude GD, resume writing, and all. Many companies approach and some students do get opportunities.
Admission :
There was no entrance . Just a cutoff, if you clear it you can take admission. My CBSE percentage ( best four) was 92.8 and I opted for bcom hons course. But still I got my name in the second merit list cz there is alot of competition.
Placement Experience :
L&T, Dabur, Nestle and many other big companies came for placement last year.Average package was of 700000 highest package was of 13.4 lac and around 80% students were placed in good and reputed companies.
Admission :
The admission process followed by the Single window Counselling conducted by Anna University. And also the college provides admission through management quota i.e. the students who cannot participate in counseling can directly get admission through the college(they will be allotted seats only after the counseling seats are filled).
Remarks :
Positive and negative remake is more Positive remark is college life,is wonderful and negative remark is college fee and strit are other them full time class and college did not provide other activities
Admission :
The admission into the college is done through the TNEA entrance exam. Every year MIT admissions are conducted for the students on the basis of cut off declared by Mahendra Institute of Technology on the basis of the entrance exam results.
Placement Experience :
Wipro, Harita TVS, Hexawera, Amazon, Flipkart and many other companies visited the college campus for recruitment. Most of the students get selected through the campus interview because the college starts the placement training in the second year itself.

Our college is transforming the lives of the students.we are having fun in learning to be an engineer.

My life here was amazing and inspirational. All the students, seniors and faculty were polite and friendly. Their supportive nature helped me a lot to think and nurture myself. Moreover, the environment was positive which was good for the students.
Remarks :
The campus is actually wide enough to play basketball ball, foot ball and volley ball. The college proved 24x7 high speed wifi networking. The labs will be available on students request. The attendence system is biometric.
