My brother did his undergraduate at the same institute, he inspired me about the progress one gains at CEG. CEG also allows people to excel their passion in many domains like sports cultural activites or it could even be technical activities. One could get more exposure if they are really willing to do so.
We Computer Science Students follow a new curriculum called RUSA. The curriculum covers all the important core subjects throughout the span of 4 years and we also can choose our own electives (from some specific listed subjects related to the branch) from 4th semester. Life at CEG is fun. Balancing academics and extra curriculars purely lies on the student. Faculties are all friendly and can ping them at any time. Industrial visits are also well planned and people were taken to ISRO (Sriharikota) last semester and it was the most memorable day ever. My Department's one of the experienced professor Mary Anita Rajam was very inspiring and her classes were very interesting throughout the semester.
From Microsoft to Amazon many company's would arrive and many have got placement and again this lies in the hands of student's academics and interest and knowledge in one's branch
Campus Life is Heaven. We get to meet people from different walks of life from rural city to NRI's. Our institutes huge technical event is KURUKSHETRA,a 3 day event that covers technical events from all branches. And each department would conduct their inter and intra college symposium every year. Our institutes cultural festivals are TECHOFES,AGNI student from many colleges can participate in TECHOFES. agni is only for anna university's students.Techofes has always been spectacular with cultural activities, concerts, Dances and many more events taking place throughout the college. T awards is one best thing were the university delivers awards to the celebrities( from cine industry). People can volunteer the activities participate in the event if won cash prices are also given to them.
We have a huge ground with people practicing from morning till nights and trainers are available for sports. Hostellers can make use of the Anna-wifi once they submit a permission letter to the office. Library is well updated and infrastructure is also great. The equipment in labs are updated/changed regularly(in case of damage)
The students of the fourth year that is in their 7th semester are eligible for the campus placements. There are a lot of companies which come for recruitment from adobe Microsoft google Amazon PayPal TCS and much more. TCS is the mass recruiter of our college.
One of the Excellent colleges in India and 100% nice place to study. The NRI and also Foreign students the fee structure is very very high including tuition and hostel food expenses for 4 years. Where as for SAARC neighboring country students it's moderate. For Resident Indian students it's reasonable which is very good for them. Placement is arranged by college after the courses that's excellent. Amazing place no doubt. Many students enjoyed studying here and placed in very good companies. Except the fee structure for NRI students, every thing is perfect.
Good but more software companies and marketing companies are getting India is a fast-paced growing economy, which is constantly on an emerging trend towards becoming one of the largest marketplaces & a valuable society. As the recruitment season sneaks in, India's chilly job market seems to be warming up. Campus placements shoot in with its ever-growing pace.
My dream job is in a professional course and it is in the medical field. So I decided to become a doctor, and I applied to MBBS only after meeting the college requirements, which is a NEAT score, along with my academic scores.
Yes, we have college internship offers, and some of them are available to our faculty. I have participated in such internships, and I can say that it has been a very positive experience for me. But we have less stipend.
No, you do not have to write an entrance test for this course. The college came from a good cut-off percentage that I got in my 12th exam. There are no interview processes that follow the college. I chose this course because I was interested in this course.
No, I am M.B.B.S. We do not have placement facilities because we are studying. Our college has excellent scholarship facilities. We get job offers, but we have to find work for ourselves. Educators help us with referrals or contacts. But they help us improve our skills and presentation style.
Admission will be granted based on the score obtained in University-based entrance test followed by a personal interview round for only PhD course. Other than that the selection criteria is merit-based and entrance based for MEd.
