This university has a great history specially at time of green Revolution. This is globally known university. The alumini of this university are at respected position all over the India as well as other countries. This is in my state and this is my second choice after medical.but now satisfied with this.

PLACEMENT WING
There is entrepreneur ship cell for contacting different organizations and companies. There are several alumini meets all over the year for career counseling and bonding between the students and alumini's. There are several sectors to apply for so there are many job opportunities. The rate of placements and packages are quite satisfactory.

COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The course curriculum is practical based. This course is specified for food nutrition, packaging,self live. This is a semester system based 4 year degree program. Every semester ends with 2 internal,1 external and one lab final exam that's how CGPA is decided. The faculty is supportive and devote there all efforts for better teaching. Dr. Chandra Sekhar chopra sir is one of the best teachers I have met he shows all his experience in teaching.

COLLEGE EVENTS
The campus is about 40 sq km it's a town in its own. The class schedule is busy. But in free time there are several actities like sports,debate and other events on a regular basis. The environment of the college is so peaceful. There are many societies which organise different events for personality development.

Quite good University with pleasing environment

Placement -

There are many companies that visit the campus for hiring like Berger paints, HDFC bank, Coca-cola, amazon, flip-kart, justdial, Data 64, etc. The highest package in MBA was 14 lac, were as in b.tech it was 18 lac. This year also I have heard about Hawkins offering 12 lac. on average 93%-94% of students get placement offers. My plans are to go for a start-up

This college is in cooperation with THDC (tehri hydro development corporation so the itself can provide job opportunities. This college is a government one. This course is more about the working machines, and tools.there is a vast scope in private sector for mechanical engineering.

Placement -

The college itself take care of placements there no any specific committee for it. The average package is about 6-7 lakh. Recently subham nautiyal got a package of 8 lakh.

Searched the net for best agriculture college and it gave out this which was a totally a fake, nothing not a single criteria is there so that i can say this good, i would not all recommend anyone to seek out this college. Never __

Placement -

Worst experience u will get, lucky if u get hirred because very few companies visits and that also the local ones and at a very low package and on terms if u don't show upto thier marks u would be fired and that what happens exactly because the college to increase thier placement rate they make a contract with the companies to hire the students for few months after thay they fire them, which leads to increase in the college placement rate

One of best college for IT students In Dehradun. Decent Campus, surrounded by hills and full greenery. Affordable hostel and decent meals in mess. I opted BCA because the faculties are good and friendly in nature.
