It's an IIT. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai was established in the state of Chhattisgarh by Ministry of Human Resource and Development in the year 2016. IIT Bhilai is presently housed in its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Course Curriculum Overview
Completely up to date with state of the art facilities and services. Holistic approach for education on all fronts with evaluation involving term papers, projects, and other activities.
Placement Experience
Good. Amazing start with a highest package of 33 and average around 12. Decent number of pre placement offers as well. Students placed in multi national companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Samsung and Google.
College Events
Very nice. Despite being a new IIT, it had all that one can expect. Amazing student culture and lots of sports and cultural activities are organised regularly. Clubs for all types of arts and technologies are also there.

Placement Experience
In our college, a mainly tech-related company such as TCS, Tech Mahindra, Byju and ICICI Bank comes for placement. The job they give are mostly sales-type so very fewer people joined for the campus placement. Mainly in our college student prepare for the competitive exam such as gate, cat and gre. Some of them also prepare for technical programs such as SSS JE and JRF.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for the campus recruitment program. Some famous company that visited are global logic, Collabera, motif, Zaaro, Techment, kaka etc. The highest package which came to our college placement was 12 lakh. Around 50-60% of students get placed. Currently, I am working in collegedunia.com.
Remarks
One of the best engineering college in CG and also in our faculty is very well educated. My course is ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING is very easy Branch if you take seriously. In our college every type of problem are solved instantly.
Placement Experience
Almost 80% of students get placement here. The training and placement cell is very efficient and effective. The highest package offered till now was 4 Lacs per annum. The average package is 2 Lacs per annum. The recruiting companies are IBM, Panasonic, TCS, etc.

My brother is final year student of this college so I visited once with my brother to see this college and I loved the labs, equipments in them, library, garden, conference hall etc that is why I choose this college.
Placement Experience
I think placement opportunities are very great in our college as compared to any other college. We have visited many companies of software engineering. Many classes hold by our faculties so that students gets ready for placement opportunities.
Remarks
It's better for future education and it's infrastructure attracts the students, highly qualified proffesors the lab practical going to do some experience gain from the college which was useful in day to day life or specially in education.

From 7 semester we are eligible for companies atleast 70 companies are coming in our campus and they hire many number of students the salary package was suitable for us.

I think there is nothing negative thing about my college. It's infrastructure, faculty staff and all office staff are good. Also the director of our college come time to time to take our opinion for betterment of our college.
Admission
Frstly, I need to clear a entrance exam(CgPET), after that im searching for Colleges and taking tours to many Colleges. I travelled to ITM university. Then i saw some new technology. Machines are there as well as, Well educated teachers So I choos to be a part of ITM university. But later on, I got admission through my overall percentile. From HSC and HSSC.
Placement Experience
Placement can be good I know Because the placement incharge is not good So this can be made good. Intership programs are very good there in management filed. The students can also intern thereselves outside india to. This is the best thing there.
