Good thing is faculty and the quality education provided. Bad thing is the campus and the canteen size.
I took IP CET (common entrance test )my rank is 4950. I opt this college because of good faculty and the quality service and low fee structure.
It was very easy to assess because of good faculty and faculty of bjmc is very good. College stands at 3rd place in bjmc course in all over delhi.
Ndtv, indiatv, aajtak, zeetv, punjab kesri, navbharat times, abp news etc. They provide internship in print media as well as electronic internship starts in first semester of 2nd year.
Placements are very good as they provide both in print and electonic media. Companies like aajtak, zeetv, punjab kesri etc. The package are also very good but according to the percentage. Morever the placement is also good and the visiting which was provided by the college.
Every year college celebrates teachers day, freshers party,ip carnival, independent day, deewali etc. Students take parts in every time in the celebrations.
Fee is are as follow ip's registration fee 40000 inter college fee 36000.
According to my knowledge there is a loan facility in the college. There is fee concesion for bpl students and there is scholarship also for good students.
There is no hostel facelities and no mess food but there is food canteen or cafetaria which is private owned. But you can hire PG service near the college campus which are not that expensive. The camups is not that good there is very small ground and a small canteen and there is no ac in class rooms but the quality of labs are good.the campus is small and only 2 floors.
Seniors are nice and there is no regging as there is strict rules on reggings. Seniors motivates the juniors towards the activities and other events which takes palce in the college.
The exam are of two types internals and externals. In internals exams helds inside the college in externals exams helds outside the college.
Historically around 3-6, lpa has been offered to my seniors. 80-95 % of students get in-campus placements. The faculties are otherwise very supportive and helpful in providing internships and job placements to the students.
Placements are provided by the college. College conduct placement drive for students from time to time. Students of the final year are eligible for placements as it is their high time in their career. There are basically four departments in our college BA (JMC), BBA, B.COM (H), and B.Ed. So companies for various departments come for hiring accordingly. I have done BA(JMC), few companies like AAJ TAK, ZEE NEWS, ALT Balaji, NDTV, Some event companies, advertising agencies, came for hiring. I am not aware of the highest and average package offered because during my time placement drive was not conducted in college due to COVID 19. I am planning to pursue Masters's in Event Management and Public Relations.
In 3rd year students get placements. They usually get internship proposals during every year by the college to work in some media houses or if you don't get any internship college to organize summer training for 1st-year student and give them a task such as article writing(in BJMC).
Campus placements are not a thing here, as I have understood till now. Nonetheless, a student is eligible for placements once he/she passes the fifth semester. My batch is yet to pass the fifth semester as the time I am writing this review is the COVID times. I literally don't have much idea about the percentage of placements and to be honest, I don't want to know. I have my own plans and I am finding myself a job after the degree. One thing I would like to mention is that these are my personal views, there may be some differences while others review this.
All in all a place that has potential but somehow lacks the managerial skills and young energy to it. A lot of good people in the system who are being side lined and not given a free hand to make this institution what it can be. If egos and administration
