REMARKS
Ranked 1 in MP and a well known institute with good academic capabilities to nourish the students towards a bttr future. I opted for Electrical engineering (B. tech) because i wanted to be an engineer. I wanted a noncore branch like CSE or IT but the cutoff was way too high so i settled with EE.
PLACEMENT WING
Deloite is a keen attraction and other IT companies are really good. EE/EI have almost 100% placement rates. ECE has lesser placement rates. Civil engineering's placement rate is also good. GATE selections per year is increasing and are really good.
CAMPUS LIFE
It's a 35-40 acres campus with both boys and girls hostel with limited capacities. Hostel ground/college ground, sylveria being the auditorium and the GH hall for seminars. A bigger auditorium is under construction. Badminton halls etc.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Overall the faculty was good and up to date. The labs aren't dat great still they aren't dat bad too. The EE / EI /CS /IT faculties are awesome and the chemistry department is shit. The professorsare cool and great but the HOD is shitty and arrogant as hell. Same goes for a professor A. Atulkar of mechanical department.
COLLEGE EVENTS
No extra curricular activities organized by the college but the clubsdo organize some fun events. The participation is about 600 to 1000 students for a fun event and about 200 to 500 for seminars and stuff.
