VNR VJIET is one of the top engineering colleges in Hyderabad.The faculty here is excellent and the placements are also great here. The campus also looks great. It is around 21 acres.Overall infrastructure and labs are also decent for an engineering college. This college offers various streams and the quality of education is up to the mark.
PLACEMENT WING
Placements are very good in this college. Many MNC's visit and hire students. MNC's like Amazon, JPMC ,Deloitte , Service Now and many more. From 6th semester companies start visiting the campus and it continues till 8th sem. This year placements very very good and the highest package till now was 38 lpa from amazon and 4 students were offered for the SDE role. JPMC offered jobs to 25 students with a package of 14 lpa. NCR 8lpa - 18 Students. The average salary is around 4-5lpa. Around 70% students get placed and in CSE and ECE almost every one gets placed except few. My plan after getting a degree is to start working.
CAMPUS LIFE
This is the best part which can be mentioned in my college. Talking about amenities, it has all the basic amenities required in a college. Apart from that, every classroom has a projector and screen in it. So the faculty can just connect laptops and teach everything on a bigger screen. This helps students a lot to understand. Drinking water is provided on every floor. Ventilation, lights, fans are also decent enough in every classroom. The labs here are one of the best labs ever seen. Especially the computer labs here are highly equipped with latest systems and up to date software. The libra is also large enough to accommodate around 200 students at a time. Contains all sorts of books ranging from academics to entertainment. There is also a newspaper room. There are two fests conducted every year, one technical fest and another is cultural fest which is generally a 3-day fest filled with lots of enjoyment. There are various clubs also like Singing, Dance, Short film, Drama, Literature
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
There are around 7 courses offered : CSE ,ECE ,EIE ,IT ,MECH ,CIVIL ,AUTOMOBILE. I chose Computer Science because this college is very famous for this course and it has shown the results by delivering a good amount of placements consistently. The faculty-student ratio is around 5:1 . The faculty members are very qualified and have good experience in teaching. Most of them have PhD or either under the process. Coming to semester exams, each semester has 2midterm exams and 1 final sem exam. The correction is moderate and generally depends on the faculty.
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
Yes, my college also provides internship opportunities to students. Students generally get internship opportunities in 6th semester. Various companies like Service Now, Amazon, JP Morgan have visited the campus with an average stipend of 40k per month. Apart from this students are also allowed to do any off-campus internships. A valid internship certificate is required for attendance purpose. The projects made during the internship helps students a lot as they experience how the IT industry works. This experience leads them to a better job.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
The fees for an academic year is 98500 which includes tuition fee for both the semesters. Apart from this, there is an additional exam fee for every semester which is around 1500. There is a fee reimbursement facility available if you are eligible. In that case, all the fees are waived off and you just have to pay the exam fee. Campus placements are also very good with an average placement around 4lpa.
