I choose this college because Fergusson is itself a brand and I got fascinated by the course offered by this college and especially the environment provided by the college is very good.
PLACEMENT WING
The college has its own placement cell and from 6th-semester students become eligible for placement .A lot of companies visit this college every year including google and Infosys. but many students prefer for masters after under graduation and You will surely get a job after under graduation also.
CAMPUS LIFE
The social life in this college is awesome.The infrastructure is of typical British old style so you will love it and the campus is very large and there are lot of greenery all around the college Every year there are technical fest and departmental fests This college has one of the biggest library present in Pune and had around 30 lakh books from very old to resent ones There are NCC and NSS group in this college and activities are organized almost everyday apart from this we have different societies on college for example civil services and music and robotics society.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
I had chosen a BSc in computer science because I have interest in computers since childhood. The faculty in this college is extremely great and with Ph.D. level. The student ratio is 1:20 The course is divided into credits and you have to earn credits to pass the semester. There are internal and external exams according to the credit system and the exams were generally of easy level.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
As the college is an autonomous body and not owned by Pune university so the fees is high compared to Pune university. The fees for all undergraduates courses come around 40k to 50k per year for open students.
