It great though i have done it differently but that totally depends on individuals,The placement and job opportunities will be great depending on individuals so the harder you work at ur college the better are the chances of you getting placed
HOSTEL FACILITIES
No have not opted for hostel as have always been a permanent resident in mumbai so never really had the need for s hostel.I really dont think they have a hostel so you will have to check with the college

Great ancient infrastructure one of the best known colleges in terms of infrastructure.very well known college around and you should be proud to be a part of this organisation.you will love the feel of it

Placement -
I'm in the second year currently so don't know much about placements but many companies do visit the college like Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture etc and around 20-30% students are placed every year at BSc level. Many students opt for higher education. The maximum package is 20 lacs per annum and the average pay scale is 4-5 lacs per annum.
Its not just a college, it's a way of life
Placement -
The college has a placement cell. Many reputed companies like McKinsey, EY, Citi Bank, Bain, PwC, AT Kerney, Times Internet etc visit the campus every year for placements. Highest package is around INR 15 LPA(ATKerney & Citi Bank), Avg around 5 LPA and lowest around 3 LPA. (Numbers are not official numbers). 30-40% of students who sit for placement get placed (This is my observation, not official numbers) Some students choose to go abroad to pursue their masters. I continued masters within India.

More reputed companies are conduct placement in padmashri vikhe Patil College of Arts Science and commerce Third year students are eligible for interview in this college. This is the quality of this college is more students are selected in campus interviews.

IIHM is an college meant to build up hospitality leaders. Its the best Hospitality Studies college in the nation. Also IIHM gives students a chance to explore various key factors necessary to build up a career in Hotels.for e.g. we do have seminars. PAN Sessions, Training Programmes. IIHM is known for its best class teaching.
Placement -
IIHM provides students with 100/- placements. We have brands like the Oberoi which come to recruitment to Pune only for IIHM. We have the Taj groups, Marriott group, Hilton group, and many more biggies in the college.

It's a brilliant college for you if you have the passion to become a hotelier. You need to work your ass off once you get into this college because the competition is pretty tough here in the college itself. Don't just come here just because you didn't get through any other college. Because that's the biggest mistake students do . you should be aware of the career your choosing. So do some research before coming here. Overall I love my college, & the best part for me is the kitchen & kitchen practicals where I have learnt so many things over these three years & gave so many gaalis too by our chefs. Don't over think , if you feel like it just do it.
