It was a government college with friendly, helpful and knowledgable faculty. Scientific and technical societies along with charitable associations were active, providing a good environment of learning and living alike.
The Course Curriculum under the Kerala Technological University is not very easy and takes effort. The faculties are helpful at every stage. Through talk and video sessions, we met professionals who guid6e us through what the current job scenario demands
Placements and job opportunities depend on one's personal effort. The Entrepreneur Cell is very active, fostering startups such as GADS. Haritha V Kumar IAS is a notable Alumni.
Campus life is a right mixture of learning, fun and well being. Aagneya is a techno cultural fest held in massive splendour with thick crowds flocking in. Vaibhav is a charity event for mentally challenged students. Sargam is the main College Arts fest with brilliant participation and many events. There are many technical workshops on innovative and relevant topics by experts in the field. There are also multiple technical, cultural and literary competitions too.
Mechanical engineering is high scope for job opportunities both here and abroad. As mechanical engineering is my ambition too. There are 66 students in my class. And around 60 students in the rest of the branches. For 1 sem 6 subjects are there and 8 teaching staff are there including lab section. Though the classes are online through the live interactive section with recorded classes and PowerPoint presentations and animation it is better than offline classes. Teachers always there to help and guide and to clear any doubts at any time. Assignment and lab works are given in google Classroom with a scheduled time of submission. And internal marks are given according to performance like timely submission active interaction etc. In each semester 2-3 series examination conducted and is conducted online and is strict. It is not that difficult only 2-3 modules for each subject. It also helps to reduce the burden in sem examination.
Bad infrastructure. No proper clenliness. Locality is not good.
Houses a small Campus in terms of Area. But that increases exposure. People having multiple talents study here and interact with each other. Mostly student run. This brings in amazing hostel food in cheap rates. Very strong alumini. They provide guidance and support to most students. Very enthusiastic crowd when it comes to technology and arts.
I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
Collage doesn't just mean that something you do after your 12th to get a degree and have a place in the society. Its where you recognize who you really are, what are you capable of. At least for me it was like that because of the facilities from my collage like the Hut Labs, you can create your IEEE membership which will be useful to you in many ways. And about the CIR, our collage is the first one to conduct SSR[Student Social Responsibility] and made it mandatory for all 3rd year student as part of academics. It is a project where we go to a town or city as a team, figure out some problems in it and solve it,its not just for marks, but during the process you face the society and see what the real life is like,so it was really a great experience for all of us which is also helpful to us in our future.
The good thing that I noticed in my college is strict discipline the students who joined in this college are safe and they are exposed to enough opportunities to showcase their talents but at the same time the bad thing that I noticed that students should
