    Cause of my really good experience in Junior College and the memories made there. The faculty, history of the college, previous experience and memories, I grew attached to the place. As the college motto says "Xavier's isn't just a college, it's a way of life"

  • COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

    It was the most recent update of our course.Plus it's CBCS. Lecs are being held online rn due to the current situation and coz Xaviers is being used as a quarantine center.So we got a online tour of our college during orientation.We'll probably only be able to have industrial visits when traditional classes resume. We couldn't do a lot of stuff cause of COVID:(

    COLLEGE EVENTS

    Malhar(College fest) is on the list of top college fests and always rake in huge crowds. It usually has a lot of events, performances held by celebrity guests, talks, dj night, competitions and workshops. We also have Volantus which a fest for only the Junior College students.

Placement -

For the 2019 batch, the final placement session at SIES College of Management for various courses with 95 to 100 percent placement record for different courses. Students of PGDM, MMS and AIMA-PGDM bagged the highest salary package of 18 LPA among other courses.

Its not just a college, it's a way of life

Placement -

The college has a placement cell. Many reputed companies like McKinsey, EY, Citi Bank, Bain, PwC, AT Kerney, Times Internet etc visit the campus every year for placements. Highest package is around INR 15 LPA(ATKerney & Citi Bank), Avg around 5 LPA and lowest around 3 LPA. (Numbers are not official numbers). 30-40% of students who sit for placement get placed (This is my observation, not official numbers) Some students choose to go abroad to pursue their masters. I continued masters within India.

I am unaware of this part as I haven't taken part in it as I had different plans to continue with & cannot say much about it. In statistics, one of the well-known companies that had visited our college was JP Morgan. My plan is to continue with actuarial science.

Placement -

15% of a student getting placement which was taken by Wipro, HCL, etc. My plans after the degree were to get a job at Google. 1.2-3.6 lac was the annual package.

No. No companies come for campus placements. All students have to look outside to get the job. Many of my classmates were struggled to get the job after completion of course. No figures to say when there was no campus placements. I heard that few companies came for placements but all were call centre companies.
