I have chosen the college based on the faculties and facilities that are provided by the college in this fees structure and I can afford only this particular things. The college promised me to provide better opportunities in case of the internships and I have also looked into the matter and choose this college, the labs are also well equipped as well as the library. These are the main things that I have looked for the college and selected it.
In my opinion the curriculum and infrastructure is very good as per the syllabus of the B.A. English Honors. The faculties are also well educated and helpful if we have any kind of doubts they came to us and solve that properly. The academics is also industry ready so that we can get opportunities for the internships and the curriculum is very much industry ready.
As B.A. student there is no opportunity for the job placements but the authority and placement cell tried their best to provide the internship opportunities to us and they have worked hard from the recent 5 years. The job placements is only for the B.Com students and they get the offers of TCS and many more companies. Still the placement cell is really working hard in this matter.
The campus life is not so good. Though the college authority organised the cultural fests every year and also lots of competitions are taking place every month of the year, but still there is lot more to do about the union politics and all. The union politics is very bad for the campus life, and it should be prohibited by the authority instantly.
On average, 60% of the students got placements in the college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000, the lowest was Rs. 8,000 per month and the average was Rs. 12,000. The mechanic, accountants, assistant manager, etc., were the roles offered to students in the college. About 45% of the students got internships from the college with a minimum of Rs. 5,000 to a maximum of Rs. 10,000 stipend during the internship. There is a placement cell in the college, it is much efficient and useful for students.
As I said In the last review, I am so new in this college that I literally do not know anything. But about the placement of our college, there is none, like literally none, there is no placement policy or support. But I am totally okay with it as I am preparing for UPSC
The students become eligible for placements in their third year of the undergraduate program. Companies like Zomato, Itc, Cognizant have conducted placement drives in the college. Salaries range from 1 to 3 lakhs per annum. A dedicated placement cell is in place for conducting the placements.
See, the university is not a commercial one. You can pursue honours, Masters, PhD and certificate courses in the university. There is no such campus placement system but the university has an employment cell which is mainly for those who pursue honours in foreign languages such as French, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and many others.
I got affirmation in this university based on 10+2 marks. The base imprints expected to get a confirmation in this school is 50% in 10+2. To get affirmation, first, the up-and-comer needs to fill the structure. As I have done B.A. from this college, my affirmation depends on the legitimacy list.
The college gives great positions to the students. Numerous seniors from my seashore were put with acceptable compensation bundles. Numerous students likewise landed government positions. Likewise, a portion of the students got entry-level positions in all around rumoured firms. I also got an internship at this university. After that, I was placed in the same firm.
