Good academic records, overall active competitions and the co-curricular, crowd are better than any of the UP colleges, the placement rate is decent. Cons- 9 am- 5 pm classes, Saturday also working, too much pressure on projects and college campus is smaller in area. I entered through UPSEE, submitted a few documents as asked and got admitted by Mid July. This college is better than any other UPTU affiliated colleges. I referred to quora and collegedunia for selecting this college.
I had an interest in electrical and electronic devices. Faculties are supporting and not so pressuring on academics. There are enough faculties for all the students. Teachers are well qualified and teaching method is quite good, they care for students' future and placement. Term exams were at proper intervals and preparation was done a month before. They are easy to pass if you've prepared well.
Many Internship opportunities are offered by the college both on-campus and off-campus like Amazon, Lowe's, ClearExam etc with a stipend and no stipend sometimes. Projects are adequately clear to make us understand the work and culture of any company.
Students are eligible from 2nd year for internship opportunities on campus and for placements in companies you are eligible in 4th year. Many companies visit like Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, HUL, Accolite, TCS, Accenture etc and a lot of offers are there for students every year. Highest Package is 29 LPA in Adobe and Average package is 4-6 LPA. More than 90% of students get placed from college every year. I want to do a job.
Fees are decent like in any other private institution. Yet, there is some scholarship program for people with less family annual income. It can be claimed at the start of any new semester. I am still studying so I didn't get any job yet.
Our college is full of activities. We have our tech fest INNOTECH in November. We also have our cultural fest Prastuti and Epoque in March and April. Sports fest like Rann is also organised in March. Classrooms are well equipped with ACs and updated versions of a computer system in labs. There are many sports to play from indoors to outdoors. There are many student-driven clubs like KIET e-Cell, MUN, Tedx, innogeeks, An NGO - Uddeshya, Music Club, Dance clubs like steppers, phoenix, kommotion and many more.
From 7th-semester students are eligible for placement, but palcement cell works on placement preparation from 2nd year onwards more than 200 companies visit the campus every year. The highest package is around 12 LPA.more than 90% of students get placement each year.
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placement activities. As I have already mentioned that almost 90 percent of students get placed during placement drive. Various companies like CTS, TCS, Wipro, cord life, etc are the companies which visit regularly on year basis. I would like to go fo higher studies further.
Every year all the eligible students get placement opportunities. Major recruiters are TCS, Wipro. Accenture, Nestle, Ericsson, Amazon, and many more. The highest placement package at that time was 10 LPA in the Biotechnology department. Most of the students in the 2017 batch got placement from college. Nearly 80 -90% of students every year got their job through the placement cell of the department.
Students are eligible from the penultimate semester for placements. Accenture and Wipro were bulk recruiters with 1000+ offers, pay package was 3.5 lakh PA The biggest pay was from a Japanese company, only 2 offers made at 32 lakh PA
The campus placements start at the 7th semester of btech the companies that come first are mostly IT based ones such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc.So if you're graduating from the CS branch it's quite beneficial for you and it's highly likely that you'll get the offer letter but if you're graduating from any other branch say mechanical then it's quite not possible to get campus placement here, The advertisements they show in newspapers about 80-90% students getting placed are of CS branch where as the remaining ones of other branches still struggle to get an offer letter
College provides equality to all students. The strength of the students is a little less as compared to any colleges of Delhi University. The infrastructure is great. We have grounds and field for different games. The only drawback is the quality of food in the canteen. It should be improved son.
