They take Rs.1,00,000 extra if you take admission from their Chingrighata office. But if you take admission from the college campus, they just take Rs.45,000 which is the fees of the first semester; they don't charge anything extra. During my admission, they just reviewed my class 10 board result and got me admitted provisionally. We had a give an entrance exam, CET (Common Entrance Test) which was more of a formality exam. I secured 90 percentile. After submitting the CET result, they made the final admission.
I had a computer application in 11-12 and found it interesting. I secured 95+ in the subject in class 12 boards. So, I pursued BCA. Also, Techno India College is renowned for its faculty. That is why I took admission. But I'm not satisfied with the BCA faculty. Other departments might have a different experience. My class has about 70 students now. They have more or less enough number of teachers. Our lab classes are alwa assisted by 2-3 teacher. Term exams were in accordance with MAKAUT, as our college follows their course curriculum and is not an autonomous one.
From the final year, the students are eligible for campus interviews. I'm still in the second year of BCA, so I don't have any experience in that arena. But I've heard the college has good campusing reviews.
45,000 for every semester+ 1200 for MAKAUT semester exams. Other than this, they charged me Rs.1 lakh as admission fees, since I took my admission from the Chingrighata office. They don't charge that if you take direct admission from the college campus. At my level, I haven't heard of scholarships or financial aids; don't know whether they are provided or not. Campus interviews are good I've heard.
Geekonix is the official technical club of Techno Main Salt Lake. The Intra college events take place around March. EDGE is the inter-college fest of Geekonix and it consists of plenty of events with a pleasant amount of prize money. The library provides books more or less enough for the course I'm pursuing. Classrooms do not have AC or smart education amenities. The air-conditioned labs have enough number of computers and a projector screen. The campus has a playground there aren't enough sports.
They just saw my class 10 board results (88%) and gave me admission before I got my class 12 board results.
Placement is the worst thing of this college. In 2020 our batch have only 30-40 people placed in bpo like job but in news paper they advertise that 90% student of there college is placed. How? even from feb there is no placement happen because of corona lockdown. They just lie to they world.
A lot of companies visit including SAP Labs, Capgemini, cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, British telecom, Concentrix and a lot of startups to visit. In our batch majority of them willing to get placed have been placed. Many of us including me opted for higher education so we didn't go for any placement process. Placement takes place by the different process according to company policy.
The admission process of college is online. First of all, I applied by going to the official website of the college by filling the form and uploaded the scanned copy of all the required documents.
Placement of the college is provided by the career counseling cell present in the college. They guide students about the interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions to get more and more placement opportunities.
