School of open learning (DU) review

My college is good in every aspect but the problem is I have choosed school of open learning in Delhi University and the problem with this is that we don't have to attend college which is the reason why I have chosen this but the main problem is they don't give notification on time, they don't provide study material on time, they always postpone exams. The admission process for the school of open learning(DU) was quite easy I went to a cyber cafe and open sol site and fill all the forms all the necessary things and done online payment and that was it I get admitted to it. Also, they only take student above 60% so if you are below that then they will not take you. The only reason for preferring this college was that I didn't want to go and attend classes I wanted to learn from my home itself & I thought school of open learning (DU) would be best for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course becoz I always think I am good at speaking English and further I can definitely choose it as my career. I had never attended any class because it is open college so I have zero idea about student ratio but I do know some of the faculty members due to online classes. And faculty members are good I mean they are highly qualified and also they know the way of teaching very well. Most of the teachers are PhD holders and the way of teaching they have is pretty awesome they not only focus on strong students they make sure that the weakest student should understand everything. When talking about exams it is never on the same day. Every time exam gets postponed for about 2 to 3 months and then they take papers. Exam paper is not that tough it is between easy to moderate usually.
Placement Experience
The student becomes eligible for campus placement after completing their final year's. I have no idea about a company who has visited becoz I have just gone to the second year. I don't have that exact figure but it is around 3 lac to 12 lac a year. 30%. I want to do business.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Fees haven't hiked that much, it hiked about 300-400 that's it .we all know DU cost to study is quite affordable. Mine is just 7000 for a year which is quite cheap as compared to many university's. As of now, I haven't got any scholarship, financial assistance, job or anything like that.
Campus Life
There is annual fest but that is for regular colleges not for the open ones. I don't have any idea about the library becoz I have only gone to my college just to collect study material, so I have no idea about the library. We haven't attended the classroom yet.

Placement Experience
Every day you will receive approximately 5 emails for internship opportunities both a stipend and unpaid. There is a separate cell called Placement cell for the students who wish to do internships and some of them also get placement offers. LSR managed to get 100+ placement offers each year. The highest package in the entire Delhi University has been backed by the student of LSR i.e., 37.8 LPA. The average package is 7.5 LPA I want to do an MA after completing a BA Hons. Over 100 companies such as McKinsey, BCG, Bloomberg, KPMG etc offer placements to the students. Students are eligible for placement in the final year of their degree. I want to be a professional Psychologist. I will try my best to get admission to LSR for the MA course also.

In the fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. A large no. of companies visited the campus and many vacancies were given to students. 60% to 70% get placements from the campus in great companies. I am working in the same company I got placement from the campus.

Campus placement is really nice and really good. Other states and other countries' placement provided by the IGNOU faculty.IGNOU is really good and very good infrastructure.IGNOU should be appreciated by all of us

Here we get no campus placement. Students can prepare for off-campus placement with extra skills Most students of open learning universities either prepare for competitive exams or do jobs.

No placement at all...one or two companies came only for some labour work...they ask only if you have 2 wheelers then you can apply for it Salary was too low about 8 k ... These types of job ..any illiterate can get

The college enviornment force me to opt this as per other college i like most of the thing in this college and the rules and regulation are there,strictness for studies, the college is nearby my house also, and i choose this coarse as i love to read books and novels and stories very much and i want to know more about this and i want to learn more to improve my english

IAAN School of Mass Communication is not a college it's a family. We work together, we celebrate together it's a complete package of happiness and the environment of this college is commendable, faculty is also very good.
