There are very few colleges having BTech Biotechnology Engineering course. The KIT college has a good reputation for biotechnology department that's why I chose this college. By reading reviews from collegedunia and other websites I confirmed to take admission in this department. Also, placement stats are good and biotech have very good scope for MS in abroad.
Biotechnology cource has fermentation and bioprocess related subjects are the main focus. Other subjects like molecular biology, genetic engineering is also there. Many faculties are good but some are not of good quality. The difficulty of this course is easy to medium.
Last year students are eligible for placement. For CS and IT, placement is nearly 100 %. For IT most packages are around 4LPA CTC for biotechnology department placement is around 70% but the salary offered is very less.
Fees are around 1 lakh per annum now. Various scholarships like OBC, SC-ST, EWS are available here. Also, central sector scholarships are available. Panjabrao Deshmukh scholarships for hostel students are available.
Pioneer is an annual fest where every department has special events. Throughout the year many events are organised at the college level as well as the department level. In the library all required books are available. The library has a reading section and an open section. In the open section, you can read, do project also no prohibition of talking. Every year around February sports activities takes place. Competition between different departments takes place.
I think placements are very good for branches like CSE, it and entc they are many companies who visit our college and TCS was the main recruiter .most of the students get placed in it sector. if you are an avg student and you have a good command of coding and English you will definitely gonna placed in any good company.
Students are eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Grind Master, BKT Tyres and BR Electrosystems, Skoda. Till now 15/20 students from Mech are placed in the campus. The average package is 2.5L and offers are made for the graduate trainee. highest package is 7L for coding. 10/15% got placed so far. My plan is to pursue MBA from a top B school in India and to start my own business later.
Vishwaniketan allows students to get placed during the 3rd year of the 4 year engineering course Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture visits the campus for the placement drives, around 60% of the students get placed during the campus drive into the companies which are there for hiring
From sem 7th students can apply for placement For civil 2were there,ie air products and neilsoft Higherst package for civil was near to 4lpa 5-6percent of students got place from civil Doing job.. planning for further studies
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package was 37 LPA in the year 2020 with a japan based company which took only 1 candidate from the campus and the average package is 3 LPA as per job profile.70% of students get placed at the end of the last year. My plan after getting the degree is to do Mtech.
Students become eligible for internship placements in their 5th semester and for full-time placements in the 7th semester Several top companies visit the campus such as Microsoft, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Barclay's, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, Pwc, Fractals, Reliance Jio, Infosys, TCS, and so on Average packages lie in the range of 10 lakhs per annum (CTC) The college has a very high placement rate of above 90%
