Remarks
JUIT is among the top universities of India and is also ranked 1 private University in Himachal Pradesh. One can get admission in JUIT on the basis of JEE rank as well as through the 12th marks. The good thing about JUIT is the location, JUIT is located in the valley of Waknaghat, surrounded by the hills.
Course Curriculum Overview
Regarding the Computer Science course, the student-faculty ratio is very good. The students are divided into small batches of nearly 30 students. Also, a mentor is assigned to every batch. The course is based on the structure of LTP, Lecture, Tutorial, and Practical.
Placement Experience
The college has excellent placements, the tech giants like Amazon, Zscalar, Hashedin, Google, etc visit the college for campus placements. The good thing is that almost everyone got placed till the end of the 4th year. But the worst part is the placement policy that once you are placed irrespective of your package(it may be high as 27 LPA or low as 3LPA) you won't be permitted to sit further for the placements. Apart from this policy, campus placements are good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The fee structure of JUIT is good, the fees are relatively low than the other colleges. The college has also started many scholarship programs for financially weak students, backward classes, etc. And many national scholarship programs are also available like the Indira Gandhi PG scholarship for the single girl child, PG scholarship for university rank holder, etc.
Campus Life
The campus life is the best part. JUIT has one of the best hostels and mess among Indian colleges. There are many social and technical clubs in college like ACM, IEEE, ROTARACT, LEO CLUB, etc. Almost there are 5-6 fests in colleges like MURIOUS, LE-FIESTUS, PARAKRAM, GOONJ, etc.

Students are eligible after the 6th semester. Companies live Amazon also. Visited campus. The highest package is 180000 and the average is 1200000, 85 % of students are offered campus placement. After getting the degree I have planned for govt jobs or clearing gate with good rank and opted for PSU.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The highest package made was 27.8 lakhs and the average package lies between 4-6 lakhs. The college is supportive in placements as there is its own TnP cell and it also provides several opportunities to the students. More than 90% of the Students get placed every year.

From 7th sem, we are eligible to sit for the placements. Almost 150+ companies visit our campus. Some of the top companies are Amazon, ZS , ZScalar, Infosys, Wipro, TCS. Last year's highest package was 30 lakhs by Amazon as a SDE. 90% of students get placed and the rest 10% opt for higher studies. I would like to go for placement in an established company.

Placements are pretty good. Companies that offer greater than 6 LPA come in the month of august during your 7th sem, so you need to start the preparation from semester 5th at least. Companies like Amazon, Zscaler, ZS Associates, Cognizant, Infy, and many more visit the campus.

There are a variety of companies that come for the placement drive like, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Z-Scalar, etc. The highest package from our College has been 30LPA and the average ranges from 7-8LPA. Almost 100% of CSE students who sit-in the placement drive get placed. My plan is to get placed in a product-based company.

The placement starts from the 7th semester as soon as the semester starts. A lot of companies come to the college throughout the year. Few companies come directly to JUIT, for big companies like Adobe, Amazon you have to go to JIIT Noida for pool placements. The average package is around 5lpa which varies a little each year. Many product and service-based companies come providing a package ranging from 3.5lpa to 27lpa. As the college claims 100% placement, it is true that everyone actually gets placed. At the end of the day, the package depends on your skills.

We are eligible for internships from the 5th semester onwards and for the campus placements after the completion of the 6th semester. Many product-based and service-based companies visit our campus every year like:- 1. Amazon 2. Google 3.ZS Associates 4.ZScaler 5.ByJu's 6.Infosys 7.Cognizant 8. Wipro and many more. The highest package offered is by Amazon is 30 LPA in previous years and 27 LPA this year. The average package offered is around 4-6 LPA. The percentage of students placed is around 95-98% in the CSE branch. My plans after getting the degree are to get placed in a good company.

Soon after the compulsory training program at the end of 3rd year. Various companies start arriving at our campus for placement. There is a separate cell for placements called the training and placement cell (tnp cell) where the faculty is very hardworking and dedicated to the students. They provide us with various sessions and webinars for the preparation of placement. Companies like smart cubes, roots analysis, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, Wipro, etc come to our college and select numerous students every year 80 to 90% of students get placed every year.

Our college has a very active placement cell. A student interested in getting a job after 3 years of the course and should be a part of the placement cell. Last year from our course CSE 182 eligible students are there out of which the total number of the absolute offers is 148, percentage of the total offers is 123%. Many top companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, BYJU's, Cognizant, LIDO, Z-Scaler, Accenture, and other tech, as well as non-tech companies, visit our campus. The average placement of JUIT is 3.5-4.0 lakhs every year.
Placement Experience
Most f the students are placed before the end of the seventh semester but can only join after the completion of the degree. More than 80% of the students are placed in companies like Wipro, Cognizant, DXC, Amazon, Hitachi, Accenture, Infosys, Google, etc. Many students normally get around 2-3 offers. The highest salary package was provided by Amazon of around 28 lpa.
