Remarks

The good aspects of this college are that it is a good college of there studying and teachers of this college is very supportive they support each and every student equally. And the bad aspects of this college is the atmosphere, the atmosphere of this college is bad they only support study but we have to support each and evry thing equally. The admission process is very simple you just have to fill DU form. L, then when cut off comes you choose your appropriate college related to the marks you obtained in class 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

8/10

I like the instrumentation course because 1st it includes electronic as well as analytical subjects, in the first year the subject includes all mixture of biology as well as mathematical. The faculty members were very very good the teachers are supported. Teachers are very qualified. And intelligent as well. Teachers are very good that everything they taught and it's easy to understand and to write in the exam.

Placement Experience

8/10

From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placement. The TCS, Wipro etc. Are coming for placement or companies visited. The package as per company offers is not very good. They are not huge, but fine. The percentage of students getting placement is 80%. I am planning for govt. Job SSC.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fee structure is fine but not good the du increase fees every year and it's difficult to pay. But the scholarship thing good, teachers inform every time when the scholarship is available. Job opportunities in my department are fine.

Campus Life

7/10

The annual fest was lit. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The sports day was also very good. We marched for our department. The books are very huge in no. available in the library. The quality of the books is good. And the price of the penalty was fine i.e, 2 rupee is good enough.

Placements are given from the 5th semester and there are various companies that visited the college including google and amazon that provided a package of 8 lakhs per annum. Due to covid 19 no. Of companies got reduced drastically last year. I am hoping that it will be alright after this pandemic. My plans are to start a startup after my graduation.

Students become eligible for campus placements in their sixth semester. The placement cell of PGDAV(M) is well reputed and around 60-70 companies visit our college for placements every year but there is not much available for students in Mathematics Hons. The average package offered to students of this course is 3lpa. The percentage of students getting placement after three years is less than 10. Most of the students opt for this course as the basics for higher studies. I too will be giving entrance exams for master after this course.

Placements of our course are not up to the mark. However, many companies visit the college at the time of the placement fair but I don't find them useful for my course. You can choose for an internship to enhance your CV

The placement cell is actually very good and provides a lot of opportunities. There is an annual internship fair also where 100s of companies come and recruit students of all years and all courses as interns and the maximum stipend for these internships even go to 10k per month for just a part-time internship. The job opportunities are there but not very good for the science stream, they are much better for commerce and humanities. There are many Tier A and tier B companies recruiting a good amount of students like VQMS, SMAASH and many NGOs also. The placement percentage is around 60% and most of the students want to do post-graduation for further growth. I have plans to do MBA after my graduation.

From the 5th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. The college is best for placements. Placement fair held in the month of March where top MNCs visit our college to recruit students for jobs. Students of courses like Bcom, BBE, IT apply in large numbers. About 60% of the students get selected for final placements every year and around 80% of the students get internships from our course. Some of the companies i.e Allen, ICICI, Genpact, etc visit our college for placements. The maximum percent of students are placed after the course ended. The highest package of the college offered is 4LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top roles are offered to BCom, BA Hons students in the business department. E&Y is one of the top recruiting companies. Generally, companies come for commerce and arts background students in our college. I am currently preparing for MBA i.e CAT exam and want to be in one of the top B schools.

Miranda House has one the best campus in DU. It is the topmost college of Delhi University. The infrastructure according to me in the entire north campus Miranda House has best infrastructure. We have two buildings one is new and one is old, both the buildings are maintained in great manner. Hygiene is the main priority. The labs are maintained perfectly. The library of the college according to me is best. The food of our college is really good in taste and fresh as well.

College management differs from college to college in Delhi university. Big names like Hindu, hansraj, srcc, Stephen's, Miranda house, LSR many colleges have good management while off campus colleges struggle with the management.
