I did choose this course because this course fits me best Teachers are so helpful and help students to achieve their designation. Due to covid, the exams have been already delayed so we will know it in future but one of my friends has told me that exams time is on same ignou releases date and exams are not so difficult if you prepare well you will clear it easily.
You will not be placed on campus, from 5 or 4th-semester students are eligible for getting a job as an undergraduate My plans after getting a degree are to get a masters degree as an MBA student
I didn't get a scholarship as I am general category but there is a scholarship for SC/ST/OBC and for a person with disabilities you did not get a job by campus as you are an open student you have to find the job that fits you the best you can get a job through naukri.com Fee: a fee for this program is 2900 as of now
There is no any fest and tech for open student's You cannot use the library if you want to then you can ask your professors they will give you the best advice and arrange books for you. For open students, there is no facilities of ground and sports and extracurricular activities on the campus you should join any academy instead There are many websites and social groups ran by students you can join one for yourself
There are 2 methods for admission one is merit-based and the second is entrance based you can apply for it according to your results I didn't experience an interview as I got selected on merit-based
Placement is pretty good in this college. Many reputed companies visited every year to hire students like Google bad Wipro. The highest package ranges between 6-7 LPA and the average is 3-4 LPA. Highest package offer to b.com honours students. 75% of students got placed every year.
I did not know much about campus placements because I am a fresher here. But as I know that past placement records are quite good enough. Many companies visit our campus every year and many students got very good placements at decent posts and ranks. My plan is to get a good placement at campus if I get, if not then I will go for SSC jobs.
The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Companies like WIPRO, CVENT, PWC have visited the campus for mass recruitment. The highest package offered was around 3-4 lakhs per annum and the lowest being 1-2 lakhs per annum. Around 50% of students get placed. Internship programs are also provided and the college also has an entrepreneur cell (ENACTUS MAITREYI) for emerging entrepreneurs and to support their entrepreneur projects.
From semester 4, students become eligible for campus placement. Several reputable companies have to tie up with SGND Khalsa College. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc. In 2019, more than 70% of the students get a job through campus placement. I am an English Hons graduate, so became a Content Writer.

It is a very elitist college. You will have to find your own space. A very competitive college. As a fresher you will feel very uncomfortable in the starting, but you will find your space sometimes later. If you want to grow, this college will help you, but for that you will have to participate. Also being a girls college, this college will empower you!
IAAN management is very helpful. They will provide guidance and help you in every small way possible. They are very cooperating and if you ever feel like you need help then you can go to the MD and be rest assured that he will listen and will help you in the best way possible.
