In selected srm, cause it offered me BTech in CSE with specialization in Ai and ml, the infrastructure was decent and was nearer to my home. Admission was through srmjee entrance, the paper was easy to moderate difficulty and was organised well with the proper venue and working systems. then we were called to KTR campus for counselling after 3 weeks of exam and had to decide our branches, July. The 1st-week college started. The fee on books and vac along with tution was high and was not worth the actual use of it for students, most of the money goes to management and is not used for students. also. they start classes early so, in case you want to withdraw your admission you won't get a refund.
I wanted the CSE stream and got it here. Teaching is average and faculties are qualified with basic as well ad master and PhD degrees, most of them are helpful and help us whenever needed. We have regular. feedback system to review our faculties and can request for change if the whole class wants the teacher replaced. There are 3 ct tests (50% weightage), internals held every alternate month and finally 1-semester exam (50% weightage).
Optum global (stipend and accommodation probed), Barcalycs (stipend provided), general electric, Deloitte, Siemens are a few companies which take in internships based on a persons aptitude test, interview and projects and achievements in resume. Each company has preferences for difficulty levels.
Student can apply for internships from 2nd year. Placement starts from 6th sem (3rd year) for students who opted for them. Average package: 2-4 la p.a. Highest package: 10la p.a (baries every year). Placed students: almost all (98% of students get placed, this rat has been consistent for the past 5 years. I also plan to sit for placements to gain work exposure from 6th sem.
The fee is too high and they charge extra for books and training, bit dont gibe facilities required, instead, money is used by management people. Annual fee: 200000 rs. (to be paid yearly in full paym 2 or partial payment mode). Annual book fee: 15000 rs (may vary according to. courses). Fee waiver scholarships for 1st years if they score a good rank in the entrance exam. Other scholarships such as 9 cgpa above, sports quota etc are there but the management almost takes up all time to process it and we need to keep going to the office to ask for the scholarship multiple times which is a never-ending process. Additional fee:- value-added course fee: 15000 rs. Sem exam fee 3450 rs. Placements are good and most of CSE branch gets placed with average packages, internship. Opportunities are a bit. less bit they are improving on it from this year.
Each department holds its own tech fests and there is an annual nontech fest "stringz" held in Feb every year which ismopen to all colleges and departments. Tech fest of cse "texus" os the. most famous in the campus, held around the 1st or 2nd week of march, it brings out maximum participation from our college and another college as well, it has many interesting events. ECE department conducts "elexa". There are 2 big libraries open for students for borrowing and browsing, all types of books are available. Almost all classes have a smartboard and projector in working condition and the infrastructure quality is also good, the labs need a bit of improvement in this infrastructure area, sometimes the computers dont work. Rmp campus. Focuses more on culturals than in sports all. Main spots event are held at our campus and our campus student goes there to participate, our campus only has a basketball court. Insta pages : codezilla, andropedia, techwiz_rmp, techvayuna, chipset, texus202, srm.rmp.
Students from the 2nd year can attend placement classes. but students with no history of arrears can become eligible for campus placement. Many companys like Amazon, Infosys will come for campus selection.70% of students get placements. The coming company's only look for knowledge and mindset .my plans is to go for higher studies
Final-year students are eligible for placements. Various IT and core companies visit the college. More than 60% of students are placed every year. Many are found to choose their own business and the majority pursue higher studies in and away from India.
Students Get placement training classes from the 6th Semester downwards. Companies visit the college from 6th-semester onwards. Some companies will have criteria like no history of arrears, some will have 1 arrear or below, and some companies had no criteria, every student can attend the placement. Every student gets a chance to attend the placements. Many big companies visit our college. And some companies signed a contract with college to give special Industrial training and they set up training sessions inside the college.
From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Name of the companies that visited our institute is Google, Wipro, Infotech, HCl, TCL etc. In our institution, the highest package is 20 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is 75%. My plans after getting the degree are to invent a motor vehicle with 80km/lt mileage
After 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. A lot of companies will conduct placements. Highest and average package as per company and profiles offered. 75 percent of students are getting a placement. My aim is to become an IPS officer
We are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (4th year). There are many companies from nearly all fields of study which visit sastra each year to pick up deserving students. Mostly the majority of these companies being computer science or IT related. Many core companies also come and pick up the students. I've heard someone saying our university has 100% placement. But I'm not sure about the credibility of that. My plan is to do further studies (Mtech) in biotechnology and do a PhD in either foreign or India.
College Management is very good. They are always encouraging students to achieve their goals. They are funding the students who involved in research works. They are regularly conducting parents meetings. They are providing free education to poor students.
Infrastructure is excellent in our college. The faculty also will be good and most importantly they look after every student to improve their knowledge.

Here is the best part of MIT, the senior-junior relationship, as the seniors teach us a lot here from subject-oriented to general knowledge. Here we can develop our personal and career development. In MIT, they have dance club, variety club, quiz club, singer groups (music team), box office for film industry-related etc. Those clubs are for your co-curricular development. The Rotract club of MIT creates social awareness and its leads you to interact with the society.
