The college is within the city limits. The campus is okay. The classrooms are well furnished and have projectors in all of them. All classrooms are well equipped with air conditioners. The faculty in the college is good. They're friendly and well qualified. It's just that sometimes they don't respond well but are really good. The labs aren't that good especially Aeronautical one. The college isn't working on improving it. The admission was quite easy. I had to submit all of my documents and paid the first-semester fee in advance and also rupees ten thousand for collateral, they refund it after graduation. The wifi isn't present everywhere around the campus and the speed sucks. It's a good college for Aeronautical Engineering in Ahmedabad.
I chose this course cause I'm interested in Aeronautics. Faculties are good with students. They're friendly and explain well and also help students. Faculties are well qualified. They've done their masters and some of them have done PhD. Some of them are graduates from IITs and NITs. Term exams we conducted two times and the best of two was considered. There were module tests before term exams which were irritating and disturbing. We had to give 3 module tests in order to attempt term-1 exam i.e mid-1. And if one doesn't give module tests, then he/she won't be allowed to give the term exams. It's unfair. There is a very limited time. Passing terms was fine. You have to get 16/40 in order to pass. And sometimes it's 12/30.
Currently, there are no placement opportunities for Aeronautical students. I am preparing for my further studies. Every other branch except Aeronautical is getting placed. The college must focus on Aeronautical batch.
My fee for one semester is INR 39000. I haven't heard of any scholarships in my college. There are two institutions, one is Silver Oak and the other is Aditya Silver Oak. Aditya Silver Oak has less fee when compared to Silver Oak.
Life at the campus is okay. There are tech fests, annual fests. Tech fests are usually conducted in the month of September. And annual fests in the month of February. The availability of books in the library is very less. There are no Aeronautical related books. It's so disappointing. Classrooms are really nice and comfortable, just as they should be. Sports and extracurricular activities happen in college. Sports are played in the college ground. And some sports like football are played in a separate ground that is 5km far away from college. There are various clubs in the college which mostly are run by students.
After 7th sem student will be eligible for campus placement. Reliance, patanjali, amul, etc. Maximum company will offer student 3 lakh rupee package. Above 7 CPI & NO backlog are required. I have to going abroad study for the master education.
Students become employable on their own, by their hard work, dedication, zeal to learn their branch. But from the college side, it can give 100 % placement if you were average in study. And dream package if you are dedicative to your branch all time. Pressure jet systems, aarvee associates, MG motors, Welspun, Reliance, Linde, Adani Port, Rane, Adani Power, Cairn, Atul, Excel Tech, Ltts, Torrent, Godrej, Shriram, GFL, Araymond, Rallis, Harsha Engineering, TCL, Horizon Microtech, Gujarat Gas, RSPL - This are ON campus placements. OFF campus placements are done by - Atman solution Pvt. Ltd., universal Honda, Telesiya network Pvt. Ltd. Sometimes ACCENTURE too grabs mechanical students in on-campus placements. This was companies for the mechanical engineering department. If you are from any other branch, don't worry, just Google placement call LDCE, you will get the whole list of companies along with different branches, of every past year, and also a number of students placed every year. I'm planning MBA.
Mechanical is an evergreen field, and I didn't love, but I had the potential to understand mechanics, thermodynamics, etc in physics. I can perform well in it. 3 faculty per subject, 1 faculty per student per 1/3rd subject. Mtech, PhD qualified faculty. The teaching method is the majority conventional, but they also give you industrial experience through stories and problem in industries. There are industry visits too. Exams are easy for you if you have attended 60% lectures of a subject throughout the semester. Mid-sem exams are taken after 2 months of every sem started. End Sem is taken after 2 months from mid-sem. You can get at least 70% score, reading local publication books, before 1 week of exams and your basics of 11th, 12th is clear. Only basics and fundamental. This happens only if you can read, write and understand English normally. You can get normal in English within 1 month, if you follow this Read, understand, solve 11, 12th physics, maths, textbook. This is enough for normal English.
Technological Advancements, Great Teaching, Best faculty, Good placement opportunities, the culture is very good here, professors are always available for any query we have and so is ideally a preferable choice over the others
Yes, No one is perfect in this word. Our college ground is not much perfect to play. If many visitor came to college the parking issues arise. Internet is so slow if user's reach to maximum Level. Stationary person charge more as compared to market price.
Our college is best for engineering. Also it's structure is very nice. Our faculty is also working for its best, also the college is neat and clean. there were many trees are planted in the both side of the road and its structure is very nice and good.
15 people were placed in campus interview all were mechanical other branch were also selected.Salary about Rs. 20000
