After a thorough check and guidance from many, I came to the conclusion that TAPMI has a very good curriculum and faculty which helps us get good placements. It also has a beautiful campus surrounded by greenery. Applied to the college with CAT score. After the shortlist they called us to a hotel for the admission process in the city of choice among the provided ones. Then GD, Team building activity, PI were conducted for everyone and process was smooth.
I love Sales and Marketing. So did not want to waste a chance to directly join in this specialization after hearing that TAPMI is offering it. Marketing & sales faculty are very good here. They are experienced and very knowledgeable faculty. It's mostly online mode now, so have to check offline how the teaching will vary. Term exams usually happen once in two months. Small quizzes happen every month and assignments are given every day. This is a burden. Some subjects are difficult to pass as some of the students don't have that particular background such as accounting.
There were many companies that visited campus for internship offer. Almost 100+ came for marketing roles. Sales and Marketing roles were the hotcakes during this pandemic. Roles like digital marketing, sales, strategy, business development intern etc were offered.
From 4th semester students can sit for placement. There many major companies like JP Morgan to ITC that come and offer a good package of up to 30 lakhs and small companies like Accenture provide 10 lakhs. Before the pandemic, the placement record has been 100%.
They are charging 7.5 lakhs per annum now. Since it is online they are not charging any hostel fees. But there is no program fee reduction. There are 4 different scholarship schemes and are provided to most eligible candidates. Still yet to get a job.
Please don't ask. It's online now. No fests yet. Online Library is provided WebEx license has been taken. No sports or extracurricular activities. There are many groups, almost 20 clubs and committees run by students.
First-round GD: why India is not a manufacturing giant? This was the topic. Next team building activity: Based on team communication and time constraints. Next is Interview: Checks confidence and interest in course.
During the placement drive, more than 100 companies visit the campus grounds and select the final year students for placements. Some of the top recruiters of IIMs are; Vipro, Tech Mahendra, Amazon, HP, Goggle, Paytm, etc. Students can expect an average salary package of 15 lakh per annum, and the maximum package can go up to 20-30 lakh per annum as per students' eligibility.
Placement at IIM Bangalore is a promising and effective way to kick-start the career. Both international and domestic companies visit the campus for a final placement drive. More than 500 placement offers were made in our batch from Boston Consulting Group, Microsoft IDC, American Express, Bain & Company, Amazon, Accenture, Kearney etc. The highest package was offered at 44 LPA.
IIM Banglore witnessed 100% placements records this year with whooping offers to many students. More than 500+offers were made of which 18 of them were international offers. There were a total of 216 pre-placements offers. This year, a total of 432 students participated in the placement drive. The average CTC offered was INR 26.18 LPA, and the median CTC stood at INR 25 LPA. Most of the students bagged offers under the Consulting, Sales & Management, Business Analytics, E-commerce sectors. College Placement plays an essential part in every college and AIMIT does too, I had chooses Marketing. In my field, many of my batchmates did not get better opportunities and were not placed too. But Yeah companies like Refinity, Techmahendra, Dufry and many other companies visit the college campus. The highest package as company and profiles offered is 10 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA.
Around 95% of students were placed in this course and the highest salary package was 22 lakhs per year, and the lowest 4.5 lakhs and average 6 lakhs. The top recruiting companies were Jaro Education, Byjus, Amazon, Berger, etc. All the students got the internship and the top role offered by companies is in Marketing.
Good is like all the faculty members are supportive which only requires for a student but bad is the toilet was not so cleaned.
because of the reputed name and rankings based on private university with packages and talking with old mates i found this and even i got scholarship here on the basis of my percentile in mat examination.
There are no admission criteria, there were only 24 students in 2018 batch and only 38 students for 2020 batch. They will make to join anyone who has a degree. While joining in the interview they told northeast tour is free and included and later was not. The college chairman Mr Karthik who is IIT Roorkee gold medalist and IIM Bangalore threatened me to beat with rowdies.
