Best Part: You'll definitely enjoy your college life here. No headache for attendance, great diversity, minimum restrictions are the key points. Bad Part: Infrastructure is not that good. Laboratories are awful so are their instruments. Admission Process: 1) Fill the form online on the official website of the university. 2) Provisional merit list will be generated and then final merit list. 3) Based on the merit list you're supposed to choose the subjects that you want to study. 4) After that seat will be allocated to you and you need to verify your original documents in the university on the given date.
I want to pursue research in physics that's why I choose this degree here. There are some other reasons as well. I don't know about the faculty: student ratio in my university. But the professors here are well qualified, however, you may find this contradictory. The mathematics professors are determined and engaging with the students. We have one mid sem before end sem and they are not that difficult to pass.
Currently, I'm in 2nd year so I don't know much about placements, but I know that you are eligible for placements after semester 5. I heard some companies do visit our faculty, but I don't know how many students get placed in these companies.
I love the fees part. In my first year, I paid 8940rs which is very less as compared to private institutions. In 2nd year, I paid 2670rs due to COVID-19 but I'm not sure. Let's see what would I pay next year. Apart from these low fees, the university also provides various scholarships for SC/ST, OBC, meritorious students, etc.
Social life at this university is fantastic, pleasing, and interesting. The university campus is spread across the central Vadodara which is a great place to wander around. There is a museum in a walking distance from the university and the Laxmi villas palace within a few kilometres. There are two libraries in the science faculty. One for 1st & 2nd year and the other one is for 3rd year. The books in the library are very old, at least in my library because I haven't visited the 3rd-year library yet. The classrooms are well designed like a theatre with over 150 students capacity. From 3rd year, classes are conducted on the main campus which has the oldest classrooms. You'll feel like you are in the 19th century. There is a great scope if you want to do something in sports or if you have some interest. I can assure you that the sports facilities are amazing. Sadly, there is no official group in my department not that I know of however, we formed an unofficial club named Astronomy Club.

Maharaja Sayajirao University is one of the best university in the state. It is located in my city itself. The college comes under Gujarat Technical University (GTU) and is one of the best amongst them. The college was my dream college and so I took admission in it.
Should have passed 12th
The admission process was simple, there was an entrance exam, and like any other institution they will ask for mark sheets and certificates. There was an interview once you clear the exam and interview you got admission. The reason for choosing this university was there is no ragging and if any such misbehavior is seen strict actions are taken, this institute provides the best education with all the facilities that a student requires. Regular lectures and practicals are taken every day and the faculty is very supportive, they always encourage us to achieve more.
Interviews and exam
The college gives you that exposure which no other college does be it brandwise, extracurricular or academics. Xavier's as a brand has been very famous and it stands to its name. There's a lot of fests organized by the college and it's one place for artists be it painting, acting, singing, sports, etc. this college pushes you if you have the talent or atleast have the potential. I've often heard abour Xavierites being active and being a part of St. Xavier's Loyola school, this college did attract me for the same reason which is the standard they keep and is consistent.
Most of the students graduating from our college prefer Further education over job opportunities. Few of the companies are as follows TEACH FOR INDIA, Gandhi Fellowship Piramal Foundation,TCS.

It has been the best government college in Baroda. The college has 8th NIRF Ranking. The college is located in my favourite city Baroda. As it is government college the fees is also not so very high as compare to other college.
I completed my B.Sc Mathematics from Gokul Global University, I had quite a good experience here either academics or co-curricular. I made quite good friends from here and enjoyed my whole course duration and also learnt a lot and matured in the process.
NRTI is the world level college as there is only two country in the world which have transportation university which is a plus point for us that we are provided with professors who teaches world wide. As NRTI is centralised so to get any funds from the central much time have to wait which is much negative point of this college.
